(VARIOUS ROADS) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTION & PROHIBITION) ORDER 2014
NOTICE is hereby given that Pembrokeshire County Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991.
The proposed Order is necessary to ensure the safety of road users and the workforce whilst work associated with the Bulford
Road Highway Improvement scheme is carried out.
The effect of the Order will be to temporarily:-
i) Impose a 40mph or 10mph speed limit (level set is dependent on the type of work being carried out) on the lengths of road
specified in Schedule 1.
ii) Prohibit all vehicular traffic, other than exempted vehicles, from proceeding along those sections of road specified in Schedule 2.
It is intended that the restrictions, which will be signed accordingly, will come into effect on Monday 30
th
June 2014 and remain
in force for a period of approximately 12 months or until completion of the works. Whilst the restrictions on speed are likely to
remain in force for the duration of the construction period it is expected that the prohibition of vehicular traffic will only be
necessary at certain stages of the scheme during which time vehicular access will be maintained to affected properties.
The Order will remain valid for a maximum period of 18 months as a contingency should work need to be rescheduled or
consequential work required as a result of any unforeseen circumstances.
Pedestrian access will be maintained.

NOTICE is hereby given that Pembrokeshire County Council is to make an Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit all vehicular traffic, other than exempted vehicles, from
proceeding along those sections of road contained in the Schedules to this notice.
The Order is necessary to ensure the safety of both competitors and spectators either taking part or watching the Pembrokeshire
Coast Triathlon.
The restrictions affecting those lengths of road contained in Schedule 1 will come into effect at 8.30am on Saturday 28
th
June,
2014, and remain in force until 12.00pm or thereabouts. Should the swim stage of the event need to be cancelled due to
unforeseen circumstances then this will be replaced by a short one loop run via the roads contained in Schedule 2. These roads
would then be closed between 8.45am to 9.30am.
Pedestrian access will be maintained and vehicular access to affected properties permitted when it is safe to proceed and under
the direction of an event marshal. Alternative routes will be provided for vehicular traffic wishing to travel to and from the Little
Haven direction.
This Order will remain valid for 1 day.
