RoleofHUDCC
The Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council
(HUDCC), under the immediate control and supervision of the
President of the Philippines is charged with the main function President of the Philippines, is charged with the main function
of coordinating the activities of the government housing
agencies to ensure the accomplishment of the National
Shelter Program. Executive Order 90, series of 1986

1. Formulate national goals and strategies for housing and urban
development
3. Encourage maximum private sector participation in all aspects
of housing and urban development
2. Recommend necessary legislation and amendments to existing
laws as may be necessary for the attainment of governments
objectives in housing
4. Supervise, monitor, review and evaluate the effective exercise
by key shelter agencies (NHA, SHFC, PAGIBIG, NHMFC, HGC,
HLURB) of their assigned functions
