1.Introduction
DB!form is eas" to user form interface for Microsoft Data#ases. nd user interface is
easil" modified. $upported data#ases are Access and MsSql ser%er.
$implest wa" to #uild wor&a#le multi user is to use SQLEPRESS and Management
Studio. Both are freel" downloada#le from Microsoft Download Center.
'ccess support has included primaril" for demo reasons. (t is eas" to demonstrate
pro)ram with 'ccess file* #ecause it could #e started to use without an" e+tra
installation. $till it is mostl" usa#le for a small sin)le user application.
,his manual introduces some #asic functionalit". Because e+panda#ilit" of DBEXform
it-s possi#le that used applications are much different loo& ali&e than these samples.
Buttons are widel" pro)ramma#le and the could man" &ind of chec&in) and tri))ers
inside of %isual components. (f there is much feature in application* there should #e
separated manual of these functions.

$elect from File menu .pen and select application file /.+ml with open file dialo)
window.

2.2. Running alication
$elect form from drop down list and press 0un #utton. 1ressin) enter &e" in drop down
field will ha%e the same effect.
2.". Designing alication
1ressin) stop si)n 2 red #o+* will open the Data#ase window. (f application has #een
started usin) shortcut then Desi)ner will #e hidden.
Shortcut startup is only available in registered version.

Filterin) data could #e made #" pressin) filter #utton. 'fter pressin) #utton "ou can
edit %alues for filter in multiple fields.
'lpha#et filter could #e a part of the field %alue. $imon and $amuel names could #e
found enterin) alpha#et s into the name field. 34- character could #e used as wildcard*
if "ou want to find te+t in middle of the field.
Filter will #e accepted with o& #utton or repressin) filter #utton.

,o add new record* press plus #utton. 1ro)ram adds new empt" record. ,o sa%e the
record* at least the primar" &e" fields must #e entered. 0ecord can not #e chan)ed
durin) record editin).
(.2. Modif,ing data
,o edit field* select it and start editin). ditin) mode will #e chan)ed automatic.

,o sa%e chan)es made to fields press .& #utton. 1ressin) .& #utton in edit and
addin) state will sa%e the chan)es to data#ase.

When wantin) to remo%e record* press delete #utton. 1ro)ram will as& a confirmation
for delete. 'nswerin) ;"es< will delete a record permanentl". ;=o< selection cancels
pressin) delete #utton.

(t is possi#le to define %alidation for field. (f %alidation fails then 'ccept icon is disa#led*
so it is not possi#le to enter to data#ase wron) data. (n the e+ample onl" %alidation is
that the name must #e entered.

When locate list has #een selected* the list of suita#le %alues are listed. :ist could #e
updated when new %alue has #een entered to edit control.
0ecord selection could #e made usin) arrow &e"s and enter or mouse clic&.

Subforms are also allowed to edit data inside the su# form.

,here is possi#le to print forms. %er" selected record will #e printed. @rid print is not
supported in this %ersion.

$elect print from file menu. ,hen "ou can select the destination printer and num#er of
copies. When this is done use .& #utton to start printin).
