• Compress spring enough to remove strut nut
easily but do not over-compress.
• Don’t spin off strut nut with an air tool. Hold
strut shaft while removing strut nut to keep
from damaging internal strut components.
• Line up the spring with the upper and lower
spring pockets. There is usually an indentation
where the spring end sits.
• Before and after installation into the vehicle verify

follow safety precautions.
• Compress spring enough to remove strut nut
easily but do not over-compress.
• Don’t spin off strut nut with an air tool. Hold
strut shaft while removing strut nut to keep
from damaging internal strut components.
• Line up the spring with the upper and lower
spring pockets. There is usually an indentation
where the spring end sits.
• Before and after installation into the vehicle verify
the new strut mount turns freely with no interference.
