According to Margaret Rouse (2011), Human Resource Management (HRM) is
the area of administrative focus dealing with an organizations employees. Human
Resource Management also simply referred as Human Resource. When we talk about
Human Resource, actually it is a key to the success of the company by keeping or
maintaining the connection with the organizations planning and objectives. Human
Resource Management plays a vital role in order to achieve the companys goals. Thus,
we need to know the importance of the Human Resource because it is critical to the
firms success.
First of all, it is important in maintaining great work atmosphere of the company.
The Human Resource department is actually focused on the companys greatest
resource which is the employees. This is a vital aspect of Human Resource Department
because the production of the company or performance by the employees is depending
on the workplaces environment itself. The greater the atmosphere at the workplace, the
greater the performance by the employees. What is the meaning of great atmosphere?
Great atmosphere here is defined as a good working condition, safe and clean. So, it is
the responsibility of the Human Resource Department in order to serve awesome
atmosphere to the employees so that the employees can work more efficient and the
objectives of the company will be achieved easily.
Next, Human Resource management also takes their responsibility in conflict
resolution. It is strange if the company do not even have any conflict in their business at
least they might had once. So, here are the resolutions by the Human Resource
management. Actually, Human Resource is concerned with the issues managing people
in their organization. Workplace conflict is inevitable, it was happened among
employees themselves such as employees with employees, employees with supervisor
and also employees with the manager. So the Human Resource expertise or manager
is actually trained how to overcome this problem. They must handle this conflict with a
good manner so that both parties involved satisfied with the way given. Human
Resource must consider it is a serious matter because they must restore positive
working relationships between their employees so that the company would be working
in normal condition again. That is why the Human Resource management is important.
Furthermore, this is a major responsibility of Human Resource Management
which is recruiting and training of the employees. As we can see that, normally the
Human Resource manager is actually come up with the best plans and strategies in
their head in recruiting or hiring the best people into the company. They would choose
the right person to be in the company so that it is suitable job for them. In training
scope, these Human Resource team also provide training to the employees. The
objective is to sharpen their existing skills and at the same time it would help to develop
a new skill and promote the employees to the higher part of roles in company. It is
would not be done if the Human Resource did not takes place.
Lastly, an organization cannot build a good team of working professionals unless
they have a good Human Resources Management. So, as we can see Human
Resource management plays a vital role in order to make the companys business run
nicely because they can recruiting and training the employees, maintaining the working
atmosphere and solving the conflict at the workplace perfectly and that are the
importance of Human Resource Management.
