The HIGH FREQUENCY transmissions, for concrete is designed to give maximum satisfaction to the user, as long as the
instructions of use andmaintenancecontainedinthis manual.
The transmissions will be used by personnel trained for this job it will only be used in specific jobs for which it has been
technically developed, after havingreadtheinstructions containedinthis manual andwhichmust be followedcorrectly.
Themanufacturer or authoriseddistributor must be consultedabout any doubts.
Industrias Techno-flex S.A. will not accept any responsibility derived from incorrect installation, manipulation or misuse of the
transmissions. The data containedinthis manual are correct fromthe moment of editing. However the manufacturer reserves the
right tomodify thecharacteristics, without prior noticeinconsiderationof contract commitment of continuous improvement.
Noactingaccordingtotheinstructions indicatedinthis manual, will cause thecancellationof theguarantee.

Technical Data
The HIGHFREQUENCY transmissions fulfils the E.Cregulation of safety at work lowvoltage and vibration in portable machines
or hand driven, as well as ISO 6081 regulation, regarding noise at the place of work. However the use of hearing protection
duringthevibratingtime.
Themanufacturer will not accept responsibilities for accidents if they derive fromstructuremodification.
For safety reasons and so as to avoid an accidental stantin, don't forget to disconnect the transmission fromthe converter when
some kindof operationor part substitutionis made.

The HIGH FREQUENCY transmissions are designed to vibrate concrete and be used under the hardest conditions, both
environmental as well as use.
Thevibratingneedleare equippedwitha powerful motor encasedinEPOXYresin, protectingthefromvibration.
All the models VAF are factory-equipped with thermal protection against over-heating. When the systemdetects an increase of
temperature over the predetermine levels, the needle stops automatically. One has dissapeared the conditions that have
producedthestoppingthestartingis automatic.
The vibarting needle are protected by a thermal system, the stopped for the needle doesn't mean a fault, only when the vibrating
needleis intotheconcrete, probably exist a fault.
If thestoppedis producedwiththeneedleout of concrete, its not anfault, is simply a natural protection.
The transmissions' needle of HIGHFREQUENCY must be submerged into the concrete , to facilitate
its cooling.
Avoidthevibratingneedleworkingincontact withsolidandridgedprominent objects for longperiods of time.
Theneedles without thermal can't be out of theconcretemore than5minutes, for avoida possible damage of thewinding.
In case that the stopping will be produced with the needle into the concrete and vibrating it, the equipment must be stopped
immediately. It will be check and repair if it is necessary. Under any circumstance, continue vibrating, because it produced the
breakdownintheneedlemotor.

Before starting, the transmissionmust be checked, payingspecial attentionfor the startedof plug, electric cable, switchbox, and
functioningof this. Before any rib, ruptureor damage it must be repaired, toavoidsubsequenly faults.
Under nocircuntance, make any reparationor changelof pieces withthehose plugintothecoinnectionplugof theconverter.
Once it has been revised, check that the transmission's switch is in position "0", connect the pluguptothe connection base of the
converter andmay be startedsubsequenly thetransmissionswitchmay be movedtotheposition"I".
use converter's plugfor startingupor stopit, always must be usedwiththecorrespondingswitch.
Under circumstances, have the arrange switch of the needle in position "I" (starting position) before that the converter has
been started, it means that the first the converter must be started and then the vibrating needle, because it starts on load and
overcoat inSingle-Phase models may produce a fault inthemotor of theconverter.
Withtemperatures below3 C., the vibrator may present difficulties tostart after a longperiodstopped, this is due tothe solidifying
of thegrease bearings andof thecable, it must start lettingthevibrator runlight longenoughfor normal vibrationtobe achieved.
Be careful to avoid that the electrical cable works forming Knots or interlacing, also with very closed bend, this produces
prematureandunnecessary wearingof theflexible cable, causingeventheir immediate breakage.
Avoid the electrical cable being near heat sources, or that it slips to where there are objects with sharp edges, it must also be
protectedfromheavy machines andother objects whichmay cause its deterioraton.
Donot allowpersonnel not capable tomake use of the vibrator or manipulatetheelectric parts.
Theconcretemust vibrate inhorizontal layers, theneedlemust be usedtomove theconcretelaterally.
Thevibrator must be stoppedwhile it is introducedintotheconcrete, tostopit must be takenout of it first.

Instructionsfor Use
Depending on conditions of use and at the maximum every year, must be carried out a complete overhauling of the converter.
Thestate of theplug, electric cable, needles bearings, wear of exterior tubs andtheends must be check.
If the loose bearings, heats up or make too much noise must be replaced and always remember
.
The greasing of the bearing must be done with grease STABURAGS NBU 4 from the firm KLBER LUBRICATION or any other
equivalent one.
Remember, for safety reasons do not forget to disconnect converter the transmissions when some kind of operation or part
substitutionis made.

Its storage theHIGHFREQUENCYtransmissions if it is for a longperiodof time, its storage will be ina safe dry place.
Before storage and after use the transmissions must be perfectly cleaned outside, taking all the concrete leftlovers off, this
operationcanbe carriedout be hydrojet avoidingtheelectric parts.
Conditionsfor transport andstorage
Thespare parts are onsale at theofficial dealers andfromthedistributors of themake inyour neighbourhood.
-Thetype of thevibrator, anddiameter of theneedle.
-Units required, code anddescriptionof theparts orderedandwhenever possible provide theserial number of themachine.

Industrias Techno-Flex S.A., guarantees theproducts andcomponents they manufacture, for a periodof 6months.
The guarantee covers all the defects from manufacturing of the components of the product, as well as their replacement or
substitution, onbehalf of theTechnical After Sales Service.
The guarantee does not cover the misuse or inadequate manipulation, on behalf of the use of the transmission, nor the incorrect
connection, knocks, maltreatment or repairingby unauthorisedpersonnel.
During the period of guarantee the breakdowns must be repaired by personnel from Industrias Techno-Flex S.A., authorised to
doso, if this is not sotheright givenby theguaranteewill be lost.
The equipment which has been dismantled or manipulated previously by personnel unauthorised by Industrias Techno-Flex
S.A., will not be inguarantee.
In all the cases of application for guarantee, must send the equipment to Industrias Techno-Flex S.A., or where they
indicate.
