Weve begun raising money for our
Veterans Campaign! Our campaign
will run from Friday, May 23
rd

through Saturday, August 16, 2014.
As of 5/29 we have already raised
$2,591.60!! We currently have a goal
of $14,000 but we have no doubt we
can exceed that!!
Our Veterans Campaign is helping to
raise money for the Tower of Hope,
The Orange County Veterans Food
Pantry, The Committee for the
Families of Iraqi War Veterans, and
the Hudson Valley Honor Flight.

Recently we have welcomed: Ayanna in seafood, Kilana, Brandon, Andrea, and Melissa on the front end,
Stephen , Victoria, and Amber in shop from home, Daniell in our demo team, Elzie in maintenance, Kenneth
in night crew, and Maurice and Matthew in grocery! Welcome to our ShopRite team!!
Congratulations to Arlene for celebrating five years
at ShopRite this month, Lester for celebrating
twenty years, Lynn for celebrating twenty-five
years, and Gary for celebrating thirty-five years!

Steve with any suggestions!
Also, we will soon be beginning
round 2 of our AEM process! We
will reviewing what progress has
been made so far and what we
can do moving forward.

Customer usually goes in with kids.
Daijana always talks to the kids and
keeps them calm for the mother.
Daijana is such a great girl and really
goes out of her way.
Anthony-
The customer is disabled and
whenever Anthony notices her car he
will get a motorized cart for her, hold the
door open for her and helps her load her
packages in her car when she's finished.
She will go out of her way to come to
this store because employees like
Anthony, make her shopping experience
much easier.






Danny-
He was a delightful associate. She
would like to thank SR for hiring such a
nice associate.
Brendan-
Brendan answered all of his questions
and was cheerful which made the
customers shopping experience
amazing.

She was at the store on Tuesday and
bought the floor model swing set which
was all set up. Antoine was so helpful
bringing out the swing set and helped
her husband put it the back of his truck.

So what exactly are we helping to raise money for? Below youll find some
information about the organizations that we are helping throughout our
Veterans Campaign!
The Tower of Hope- The Tower of Hopes mission is to
provide funding to train and care for service dogs, so that
seriously wounded veterans can live their lives in greater
safety and comfort, and with greater independence.
Service dogs assist with everything from self-esteem
to independent living. www.thetowerofhope.org
The Orange County Veterans Food Pantry- provides food and non-perishable items for the
growing community of men and women who have unselfishly served our Country. This pantry
provides a delivery service to the many veterans that have no means of transportation. The
County of Orange oversees the Veterans Pantry. www.orangecountygov.com

The Committee for the Families of Iraqi War Veterans- is committed to raising funds for mid-
Hudson area families of soldiers killed or seriously wounded while fighting in Iraq and
Afghanistan. These funds are raised through events and donations that are used to make
meaningful and regular donations to families of soldiers who have suffered in these two on-
going conflicts. www.familiesofwarvets.org
Hudson Valley Honor Flight- is an All Volunteer Non-profit created solely to honor America's
veterans for all their sacrifices. We transport our heroes to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect
at their memorials at no cost to the veterans. HVHF Honors Our Local veterans in Orange,
Ulster, Sullivan, Westchester, Rockland, Putnum, and Dutchess Counties. Each hub is funded
separately by private donations. Honor Flight Thanks all our veterans and a special thanks to
our most Senior WWII Veterans for their dedication and commitment to protecting the
freedoms enjoyed by so many citizens of the greatest nation on earth, The United States of
