Colin Owen, of Oil 4 Wales, brought along Dan Biggar, Ken Owens, and Dafydd Jones to officially open the chip shop. Members of Crymych Rug- by Club U14s were present to meet the sporting stars and to be presented with the Scar- lets Cup. The Scarlets Cup was won when the Pembrokeshire champions challenged the Carmarthenshire champions Burry Port at Parc-y-Scarlets recently. Crymych U14s were victorious 50-0. They remain unbeaten this season and enjoyed a fun day at Glandy Cross during the official opening. The Bucking Rugby Ball, Gladiator Joust and Rugby Ball Hole Chal- lenge was busy all afternoon. Hamper win treasured by lucky family Treasure hunt winners (7097150) TWENTY families took part in this years annual Easter Treasure Hunt, centred around the Cardigan Castle Restoration project. Run over the course of a fortnight, it was won by a family of four from Har- bourne, Birmingham Roy and Elizabeth Thomson and their daughters, Thora, aged four, and Agnes, aged 18 months. The prize was a hamper of wines and chocolates donat- ed by the Co-op in Cardigan. The hamper was collected by Elizabeths parents, Paul and Margaret Turner (pic- tured), who stay regularly at Caerfelin Caravan Park, Aberporth. Fundraiser for cancer charity AT THE end of May, Caer- wedros Memorial Hall held a pink-themed pamper party to raise money for Breast Cancer Care charity. The hall was packed with stalls offering a range of products.
