Client Description:

WellPoint, Inc. is a large, U.S. based Health Insurance Company and the largest member of the
Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association. It was formed when WellPoint Health Networks, Inc. merged
into Anthem, Inc., with the surviving Anthem adopting the name, WellPoint, Inc. UST Global has
engaged providing software solutions for the WellPoint.
Project Description:

State Sponsored Business (SSB) is one of the divisions of Well Point which gets claim
reimbursement from the State. This division is involved with the handling of claims of senior citizens and
the low-income citizens for the West Virginia, California, Massachusetts, Texas, Kansas and Indiana.
With the SSB provider project track, the provider satisfaction will be improved by Moving to a single
source of truth for all enterprise provider data across the enterprise. Implementation of Location and
Attestation to support enhanced claims processing of State Sponsored Medicaid business and eliminate
the need for duplicate providers. Implementation and enhancement of provider demographics and
enrolment data to support STAR and WGS membership PCP Primary Care Provider assignment and
Primary Care Provider Member Preferences.

Responsibilities:

Also involved in the whole cycle from analysis phase till implementation. Also responsible to
analyze, coordinate discussions, code, and test and deliver solutions to the issues/enhancements
reported.

Understanding the requirement and involving in analysis.
Analyzing data requirements for system interfaces.
Developing of programs according to the clients requirements.
Preparing the test cases/test plans.
Developing the code for change request.
Unit testing of the modified modules.

About Client:

Well point Account has been classified into Claims, Dental, Membership, Pharmacy, Enterprise
Provider data system, SSB. NMS and WMS are the similar provider system for BCC line of
Business and Unicare Line of Business. NMS having 1 million provider and where as WMS
having 2 million providers. The NMS and WMS are divided into provider types such as
professional provider, Institutional provider, Business Provider and HMO provider. It operates in
US.

Project Description:

The project involves data extraction from Input Policy file. The policy information received from
source systems are undergone record level and field level validation and then transformed into
the format specified by the loader team to feed the data into the data warehouses. This validated
data will be used by Underwriting team, Operations team and Reporting & Analysis team for
further processing
Responsibilities:

Contributed to the Configuration management activities, such as taking Weekly backups.

Performed Analysis, Coding and testing required as per the functional requirements.
Performed peer reviews of RTM.
Coordinated with onsite POC to get the work done effectively and in a timely manner.

Taken MOMs of weekly team meetings, and followed all the processes as per the client
defined methodologies.
