Ive been working for BPS, Statistics Indonesia, since 2006. I joined the institution because my dad wanted me to. Anyway, my educational
background is mathematics, which is related to my job. My main task is to do my units annual and an incidental survey while also contribute
when theres a big census. My unit is called regional statistics sub directorate and we do several surveys and census on our own. First, we do
village potential statistics once every three years, it is a census that covers all area leveled as village. In addition, we also generate social capital
index that we estimate from BPS annual survey or from our own social capital survey which is held once every three years too. Finally, we also
do happiness survey is a new survey and we are putting so much effort in it because many people are already bored with economic indicator to
provide welfare estimation.
