Rayyan through which those who fast will enter n the Day of Judgment and no one besides them will enter it. Collected by al-Bukhaaree

calledRayyan. Only those who fast will enter it, Sahl Sad narrated that the Prophet Pbuh said. Whoever spends two portions in Allahs way will be called from the gates of Paradise. O slave of Allah! That is good! Whoever is from the people of salaah will be called from the Gate of Salaah. Whoever is frm the People of Jihaad will be called from the Gate of Jihaad, whoever is from the People of Fasting will be called from the Gate of Rayyaan and whoever is from the People of Charity will be called from the Gate of Charity. Abu bakr (RA) asked But will anyone be called from all of these gates? The Porphet ppbuh replied Yes, And I hope you will be among them.
Rayyaan

It emphasizes that it is only for those who regularly fast. It will be said where are those who fast? They will get up and no one besides them will enter. When they enter, the gate will be closed and no one else will enter it. As per the complete narration

fast before the dawn will not have a fast. Collected by at-Tirmithee, an-Nasaaee and Aboo Daawood
To be rewarded the prescribed fasting should
only be for Allah rather than for losing weight, expressing disapproval, conforming with the custom and so on. So the purpose should identified and corrected before each fast in sha allah. Though Ramadan is continual fasts, do not fall in the trap of routine and lose consciousness of the purpose behind the fast. SO WE ARE REQUIRED TO INTENT THE FAST PRIOR THE DAWN EACH DAY. Intention is done at heart and its renewal will help us attain taqwa which is its divinely prescribed purpose.
