Stabroek News: LGBT Rights?

Response to SN Editorial 29
th
June 2014 captioned LGBT Rights
(http://www.stabroeknews.com/2014/opinion/editorial/06/29/lgbt-rights/ )

Dear Editor,
We had to save this editorial before it was deleted or edited, because for the first time in Guyana we have a
tacit admission that the aims of the LGBT community (are they reflective of the Stabroek News'?) is to silence
any opposition to the "LGBT agenda" however defined.

This makes absolutely no sense in the face of the law reviews "Child Molestation and the Homosexual
Movement" (http://www.mega.nu:8080/ampp/baldwin_pedophilia_homosexuality.pdf ) and "Crafting
Bi/Homosexual Youth" ( http://www.drjudithreisman.com/archives/regent.pdf ). A dismissal of fact, truth,
detail and evidence is the hallmark of these episodes of ... confusion ... that erupts sporadically from an LGBT-
complicit media.

Where does SN get off by saying that a sitting Minister of Government ... indeed any citizen of Guyana ... should
be indicted in the following manner: "... and while he prefaced his statements with the caveat he was speaking in
his capacity as a religious leader and not on behalf of the government, that does not exonerate him. As a
minister of government he should not have had anything to say on the subject at all; he was not in his own
church but on the public airwaves, and what he had to say may very well have compromised the government
which has not, as yet, adopted an official position on the matter....".

In other words, Juan Edghill the man, the Christian has no rights to speak out against the indefensible because
he is a ... Christian who happens to be a Minister.

The story of "LGBT rights" has always been the silencing of those opposed while, as in Stabroek News' case, the
LGBT "community" is given opportunity and space in no less a prominent platform as a Stabroek News Editorial.

Do a check and see that why most pro-gay letters to SN are suggestively captioned. those like Abu Bakr's are
masked under such amorphous and easily-missed captions as "It cannot be the right of everyone to dispose of
body and soul as they see fit" (http://www.stabroeknews.com/2014/opinion/letters/06/21/right-everyone-
dispose-body-soul-see-fit/ ).
Why is Ras Ashkar's Ras Ashkar 2008-letter ( "Those in support of homosexuality are more interested in their
hedonistic agenda than in individual freedom";
http://www.stabroeknews.com/2008/opinion/letters/05/27/those-in-support-of-homosexuality-are-more-
interested-in-their-hedonistic-agenda-than-in-individual-freedom/ ) which pointed out the potential
consequences of having sasod use its use its website to "recruit" teenagers to the "gay" lifestyle, became one of
the few letters that can only be viewed/accessed via official logon/subscription.
Discrimination, anyone?

Perhaps the ONLY reasonable position that Stabroek News can now adopt is to allow Bishop Juan Edghill and
Pastor Ronald McGarrell to submit editorials of their own of the same length and suggestive captioning as this
one.

But will an innate predisposition to LGBT-hypocrisy, deception and advocacy allow this?

We repeat the essential question, ad nauseam ...

Why do Christians ... and law-abiding citizens generally ... HAVE to oppose Vidyaratha Kissoon, sasod and "gay
rights" generally?

The bottom line is ... homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexuality and transsexualism (constituting the "community"
that defines the LGBT movement) are the ONLY psycho-sexual disorders or pathologies so diagnosed that see as
their inevitable and non-negotiable ends the destruction of key creation-structures in the Christian world-view
... manhood, womanhood, sex, family, marriage, fact, truth, detail evidence, logic!

How significant is this?

Simply put, the existence/celebration of the one means the nullification of the other!

So ... just how comfortable are Christians in Guyana with being "told" by Stabroek News Editorial staff what their
roles are relative to their very survival? Perhaps Melanie Phillips' article "How Britain is Turning Christianity into
a Crime" ( http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-404052/How-Britain-turning-Christianity-crime.html ) will
clarify the issue.

Sound public policy lies in treatment, healing, recovery ... and the eradication of the pathology considered by its
victims as "essential to their well-being". Dr. Jeffrey Satinover in "Homosexuality and the Politics of Truth"
called it a pathological "... denial so intense that self-examination is entirely precluded ..."!

The author of this callous SN-editorial should read ... and answer ... the article Why Isnt Homosexuality
Considered a Disorder on the Basis of Its Medical Consequences? by Kathleen Melonakos, MA., RN
(http://www.lifesitenews.com/resources/why-isnt-homosexuality-considered-a-disorder-on-the-basis-of-its-
medical-co )

But is it feasible to assume that hypocrisy and deception can accommodate fact, truth, detail and evidence?
Yours faithfully
Roger Williams
