PURPOSE AND SCOPE.
1. PURPOSE FOR M&E WORKS.
We acknowledge that the project has to be executed according to international professional
standards and quality requirements. With our qualification have been Supply, Engineering and
Installation in Industrial and Residence Project, we will be the purpose of these guidelines
installation programme for execution of the work as:
+ Site Inspection and checking infacstructure of Industrial Park at project location for power
supply, water supply, water drainage, communication connection and other facilities.
+ Contact with the Owner and Consultant engineering for Site Office Layout submit and
approval with a convenient and safety location. Preparing Site Office, Warehouse and
Workshop, checking and prepared Tools, uniform, safety tools.
+ To take out insurance for Officers, labors and equipment for guarantee of Labors and
equipment at site.
+ To submit with the Owner and Consultanting engineering of Manpower list for this project
with personel detail (Position, mobile) and Company information for an indispensable job.
+ To submit with the Owner and Consutanting engineering of Time Schedule has been
approval to co-ordinate in project progress.
+ Regrouping equipments, materials and tools at site completed.
+ Checking to order all equipment with supplier for delivery time, drawing manufacturing
approval, assembly schedule, Testing and commissioning and erection schedules.
+ To work out a optimal plan, convenient for Transportation, Logistic of equipments and
materials to located and installation at site.
+ Checking and testing equipments, before regroupding at site. To co-ordinate with Audit
company and supplier for checking and testing equipment.
+ To co-ordinate with Consultanting Engineering and Civil contractor before excavation work,
foundation works, steel re-bars, concrete pillingfor underground piping works, conduit
piping work, M&E equipment foundation and other works.
+ Proceed with M&E works follows Construction progress.
+ Regrouping Main equipments for M&E works at site for preparing installation M&E works.
+ Lifting and Installation equipment for M&E works.
+ To co-ordinate with Consultanting Engineering and Civil Contractor to improved work at site.
+ To completed installation M&E works.
+ To co-ordinate with Consultanting Engineering and the Owner for Inspection & Testing of
M&E works has been finished installation works.
+ To co-ordinate with Consultanting Engineering and the Owner for Checking Unload and Full
Loading of M&E equipments, before acceptance this works.
+ Checking to improved M&E works.
+ Instruction Manual Operation, Acceptance works and Hand-over.

2. SCOPE OF WORKS.
This item is description for the supply and installation of the M&E works. M&E scope of works
description of the followings systems:

PREPARING WORKS
1. Document Preparing works.
+ After received to start of work command from the Owner, we will submit Manpower list shall
be joint to this project for The Owner to monitoring and to issue an Entry Card licence.
+ To report with Police and local authorities for execution the work and submitted Manpower
list with detail information (name, address, telephone).
+ To submit with the Owner and Consutanting engineering of Time Schedule has been
approval to co-ordinate in project progress. Site report approved by the Owner with stamp
will be prepared after start of work.
+ To submit with the Owner and Consutanting engineering of Catalogue and technical drawing
for M&E equipment in 02 weeks, after the Owner signed contract for the Owner and
Consultanting Engineering approved.
2. Site Plan layout.
+ Site plan layout shall be specify location by the Owner for execution of the M&E works as
well as site storage for regrouping materials, tools and set up temporary electrical, water
supply, telephone to carry out works at site. Also the contractor will be set up 01 Generator
100kVA for emergency power supply for site office and workshop.
+ The M&E Contractror will be set up temporary fence for Site plan layout, also set up 01
guard house for this area. Beside the contractor will be set up workshop for fabrication duct,
sleeve, piping, hangers, support and accessories for M&E works with waste area following
LEED requirement.
+ To set up site storage with 03 container volume is 40ft and storage is to maintain good,
equipments and tools.
+ Site office shall be setup with 02 container 40ft in office area included: office area, meeting
room for management project.
3. Man power and facilities.
+ Manpower: will be set up followings capacity of Project (see detail in Organization Chart).
+ Machinery and Tools: see detail in tender document.
+ Materials: all material used to carry out of M&E works the contractor shall submit product
data sheet and sample to the Owner and Consultanting Engineering, also available with
technical specification, standard.

TRANSFORMER:

+ The installation transformer shall accord to safety
requirements. For those without enclosure, grounded
disconnection fence shall be placed around the
transformer. Hazard-warning signs shall be put up on
the main body of the transformer, on the striking
places of the cabinet anf the fence.
+ The connection of cables and busbars must be up to standards and the safe insulation
distance regulations descripble. Cables and busbars must be supported with fixed braces,
and excessive mechanical force and torque must not be exerted on the terminal.
+ Checking Temperature controlling and displays
devices, as well as instruments for automatic
voltage controllers.
+ Checking overall the connection correctly and
reliably, all conditions must be fulfilled.
+ Testing unloading and loading with normal
condition and finished installation works.
SWITCHGEAR INSTALLATION WORKS:
+ Shop drawings and Manual installation of
Manufacturer with detail installation of works.
+ Lifting by Crane and transportation to
Switchgear location.

+ After civil engineering of distribution room is finished, installation illumination and power
supply, ventilation device for installation.
+ Checking foundation complied with requirement for torelance of platness and linearlity which
guarantee the installation of switchgear.
+ The installation of fundamental fra me, adjust the height and levelness of fundamental
frame.
+ The installation of the switchgear fixed with fundamental frame with bolts.
+ The installation of the burbar, used socket bolt to connect the busbar to corresponding
branched busbars.
+ Switchgear earthing: connect all lines that need to be earthed in the cubicle.
+ The epilog of the installation: check bolt connecting, cleaning switchgear carefully.
+ Check overall conditions of switchgear, energize the auxiliary control power. Inspect the
effectiveness of mechanical and electrical interlock.
+ Testing unloading and loading with normal condition and finished installation works.
DISTRIBUTION BOARD PANEL INSTALLATION WORKS:
+ Shop drawings and Manual installation of Manufacturer with detail installation of works.
+ Lifting by Crane and transportation to Distribution Panel location.
+ After civil engineering of distribution room is finished, installation illumination and power
supply, ventilation device for installation.
+ Checking foundation complied with requirement for torelance of platness and linearlity which
guarantee the installation of Distribution Panel.
+ The installation of fundamental frame, adjust the height and levelness of fundamental
frame.
+ The installation of the Distribution Panel fixed with fundamental frame with bolts.
+ The installation of power cable with ACB, MCCB, MCB.., used cable plug to connect the
power cable to corresponding ACB, MCCB, MCB.
+ Distribution Panel earthing: connect all lines that need to be earthed in the cubicle.

+ The epilog of the installation: check bolt connecting, cleaning Distribution panel carefully.
+ Check overall conditions of distribution panel, energize the auxiliary control power. Inspect
the effectiveness of mechanical and electrical interlock.
+ Testing unloading and loading with normal condition and finished installation works.
B. CABLE TRUNKI NG AND CABLE LEADER I NSTALLATI ON WORKS:
Preparing works:
+ Scafolding, Lifting equipment, chain, wood to prop
+ Grillding machine : 02 set.
+ Concrete drill Machine : 02 set.
Cable & trunking installation works:
+ Checking and marking Cable trunking and Cable leader lines
in factory.
+ Installation supports (with vertical type) and hangers for
horizontal type of Cable trunking and Cable leader. Distance
between two support (vertical type) is lower 3m and
hangers (horizontal type) is 2m.
+ Installation Cable trunking and cable leader with fixed point
between support (vertical type) and Cable trunking is 100-
150mm, also fixed point between hanger to Cable trunking
is 100-200mm.
+ Installation Fixed support for Cable trunking and cable leader has been installed, normally
01 cable trunking space shall be installation 02 fixed support (horizontal type) and 01 fixed
support for vertical cable trunking.
+ Installation earthing cable for connection point between two cable trunking and leader and
installation earthing cable for the end of cable trunking and cable leader.
+ Cheking overall cable trunking and cable
leader has been installed with vertical view, alighment and across of lines, also checking
earthing cable connection.
