UGC-DAE Consortium for Scientific Research

(An Autonomous Institution of University Grants Commission, New Delhi)

UGC-DAE Consortium for Scientific Research supports a strong research program in materials
science and has established a host of high end experimental facilities for such studies which are
accessible to the university researchers throughout the country. The Consortium is glad to
announce CSR Lecture Series-2014 covering advanced topics in condensed matter physics.
These lectures will be delivered by experts in the respective fields and are open for limited
number of interested research scholars from various colleges/universities/institutes across the
country.

The program of lecture series is as follows:

How to apply: Interested candidates should download the application form given at CSR
webpage (www.csr.res.in). Initial request via email(lecture2014@csr.res.in) followed by duly
filled application form forwarded through their thesis supervisor should reach the consortium on
or before 30
th
June 2014. The envelope containing the application should be superscribed as
Application for CSR Lecture Series-2014. Candidate can opt for module 1 or/and 2 based on
