1.-Publicaciones: ACI produce cientos de documentos dedicados a mejorar el

diseo, construccin, mantenimiento y reparacin de estructuras de hormign y
mampostera. Los documentos ACI se desarrollan en numerosos tipos y formatos.
2.-Certificacion: ACI ofrece 18 programas de certificacindiseados para formar
una cualificacin mnima para el personal empleado en el sector de la

construccin de hormign. Exmenes de certificacin y cursos de formacin

opcionales se realizan a travs de una red internacional de ms de 100 grupos
patrocinadores. Desde 1980, la ACI ha administrado exmenes a ms de 400.000
personas, con ms de 100.000 certificaciones mantenidos actualmente por el ACI.
3.-Educacion:
Cursos en Lnea:ACI ofrece dos tipos diferentes de formacin profesional en
lnea que proporcionan crdito CEU.
Cursos ACI eLearning son interactivos, herramientas de aprendizaje a la carta
elaborados por expertos de la industria.Cursos ACI Online CEU incluyen material
de referencia y un examen de 10 preguntas que debe aprobar para obtener
crditos de educacin continua. Gratis para los miembros de ACI. ($ 25 por curso

Seminarios Pblicos:Cada ao, el ACI realiza seminarios educativos para los
centenares de asistentes sobre una variedad de temas concretos relacionados con
la tecnologa. Cada seminario se basa en las publicaciones ms recientes de los
comits tcnicos de CAI y de las ltimas ideas sobre estos temas por los
principales expertos en su campo.
Seminarios personalizados:Programe un seminario educativo personalizado
para sus empleados, clientes o miembros. Elija entre una variedad de temas,

4.-Comites: El Instituto Americano del Concreto se basa en el trabajo de ms de
3.000 voluntarios que sirven en los comits para desarrollar los ltimos cdigos e
informes relacionados con el hormign.

Qu requisitos se requieren para formar parte de un Comit ACI?

Miembros del Comit ACI constan de profesionales de todos los niveles de

experiencia y todos los sectores de la industria del hormign. Mientras que
algunos de los miembros que sirven en los comits han estado activas desde hace
muchos aos, estudiantes, profesionales jvenes y veteranos de la industria de
todo el mundo se anima a igualmente a unirse. Es a travs de la diversidad que
nos esforzamos por desarrollar y difundir el conocimiento concreto ms avanzada,
y os animamos a participar al participar en un comit.

Comits de nivel de cdigo y de la Junta

Algunos de los comits ms bien reconocidos, como los Comits de ACI 301 y
318, son los comits de cdigo y no ofrecen "Pertenencia Asociados." La
membresa en los comits de cdigo, as como las actividades tcnicas,
actividades de educacin y certificacin de los Comits de las actividades, es slo
con cita previa.

5.-Eventos:Se lleva a cabo mediante patrocinios de grupos , sesiones de

certificaciones tambin pueden proporcionar capacitacin y materiales para
ayudarle a prepararse para el examen .
6.- Captulos:El Instituto Americano del Concreto tiene captulos y captulos
estudiantiles ubicados en todo el mundo. La participacin en un captulo local
puede ser muy gratificante en trminos de la obtencin de un mayor conocimiento
tcnico y la creacin de redes con los lderes de la comunidad concreta.
Debido a que los captulos son entidades jurdicas distintas e independientes,
miembros figuran tanto miembros de ACI y no miembros de ACI y se compone de
una mezcla diversa de arquitectos, ingenieros, consultores, contratistas,
educadores, proveedores de materiales, proveedores de equipos, propietarios y
estudiantes-bsicamente cualquier persona interesada en el concreto.
Muchos de los miembros activos del ACI se convirtieron inicialmente involucrado
en el ACI a travs de su filial local.
Adems de los programas tcnicos y publicaciones, muchos captulos patrocinan
programas de certificacin ACI, seminarios educativos ACI, programas de
reconocimiento de adjudicacin de proyectos y eventos sociales con el objetivo de
avanzar en el conocimiento concreto. En el plano interno, los captulos tambin se
pueden celebrar conferencias de ACI. La mayora de los captulos tambin
mantienen una biblioteca de publicaciones de ACI que est disponible para todos
los miembros del captulo, sin costo alguno.

Es una Institucin que tiene por finalidad promover la educacin y prcticas

tcnicas, as como fomentar la investigacin cientfica y tecnolgica, con el

ACI PERU inicio con gran xito sus actividades para este ao 2014. El Seminario
de Actualizacin: Anlisis y diseo de puentes de concreto armado, llevado a cabo
el 8 de Marzo del presente ao en el Auditorio de la Sociedad Nacional de
Industrias, tuvo una concurrencia de ms de 150 mil participantes entre
profesionales y estudiantes, quienes a lo largo de toda la jornada, recibieron 3
excelentes conferencias a cargo de los Ingenieros: Jack Lpez Acua, Jack Lpez
Jara y Francisco Arellano, expertos en el tema de puentes.
Este seminario tubo la acreditacin del ACI , el cual fue llamado SEMINARIO
INTERNACIONAL.

ACI Y SU ULTIMA PUBLICACION 318-14

A finales de 2014, ACI publicar la primera gran reorganizacin del ACI 318,
"Requisitos de Reglamento para Concreto Estructural", desde 1971.El cdigo
reorganizado ser ms intuitivo, ms fcil de usar, y le proporcionar una mayor
confianza en que un diseo responde a todos los requisitos del cdigo. Para
ayudar en la transicin hacia el nuevo cdigo, ACI se actualizar continuamente
esta parte de la pgina web para responder a sus preguntas, hacerte consciente

de las prximas presentaciones en su rea, le proporcionan un ejemplo del

contenido del nuevo cdigo, y ponerle al da con el tiempo enmarcar los
comentarios

del

pblico

la

liberacin

del

cdigo.

ACI 318-14 abierto para el debate pblico:

Se invita a los usuarios de cdigo para leer y proporcionar comentarios sobre el

proyecto de ACI 318-14, que est disponible para su descarga durante el perodo
de discusin pblica de 45 das.Usa los enlaces siguientes o visite la discusin

el artculo CI que describe los cambios en el nuevo cdigo.

CONCLUSIONES

 El ACI es una institucin muy importante para poder dar normas ,

reglamentos y mucha informacin sobre el Concreto .
Que el ACI , es una institucin abierta para todo el pblico e incluso para
nosotros que somos estudiantes de Construccin Civil .
Es una buena oportunidad para poder certificarnos como estudiantes y
pertenecer al ACI Per.
Las normas y reglamentos que nos da el ACI es importante para la
obtencin de un buen Concreto para mejores Estructuras.
