Responsibilities
Conduct performance testing on prototype and pre-production Vax products to support our Product
Development teams.
Understand all relevant test standards and ensure Vax products are tested correctly through correct
preparation (IEC/BS EN/ASTM)
Set an example to junior Test Technicians by using and maintaining best practice in all laboratory activities.
Ensure a high level of gauge R&R is achieved, monitored and maintained.
Assist the laboratory manager in ensuring fulfilment of all the business test requirements, including
establishing new test techniques and procedures.
Liaise with Product Management teams to ensure efficient scheduling and timely completion of testing
activities
Reporting test results and findings both verbally and in written report format to relevant NPD team members.

Inputting test data, findings and results accurately into spreadsheets
Your role will predominantly to develop and maintain rigs and fixtures suitable for the routine testing and
development of hydraulic components, assemblies and systems used in the F1 racing activities of the
company.
You will assemble and test hydraulic units including in-life servicing of components and assist in problem
solving and resolution in conjunction with the Hydraulics Department Foreman and relevant designers.

What you'll be doing:

- Preparing and performing tests according to procedures
- Supervise test and document test results
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on equipment
- Updating and changing all necessary mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic work to build and
maintain text fixtures and lab equipment
