Rotational Motion

Objective
Purpose of the lab is to find the force exerted by a string attached to a falling mass to
exert a torque on a disk. You will time the fall of the mass and calculate the
acceleration of the disk. From this, you will determine an experimental value for the
moment of inertia and compare it to a theoretical value.
