Abstract
Till the time , many of the projects reports and research reports have been written on the takaful (an islamic
insurance). But those all were written with reference of specifical country or on the problems which takaful
is facing in a particular country. So i feel need of making project report on takaful in which takaful is
discussed with an overview and history and background of takaful and importance of takaful in islam with
refernce to sayings of Prophet Mohammad (s.a.w.w) ,his companuions and Holy Quran. In this project it
have been also discussed that what are the elements in conventional insurance which are solved through
islamic insurance. And role of takaful in islamic economic system as well.
