AventX is a fax and email solution for E-Business Suite from STR software.

It works with other ERPs like

SAP R/3 via its ERP connectors. Users in a Unix-based environment, including AIX, HP-UX, Intel Linux,
Solaris and Tru64, can send information directly from various host ERP applications.
AventX prompts for schema name when it is being installed. So schema name can be custom.
Fax Commander was the original name of the AventX product and internally you will find a lot of names
with fc like
fccntrld
fcdrived
fcschedd

My users absolutely love this functionality. It is often referred to at TMEIC as the Magic
Button. Our buyer recently told me that she has eliminated 11 mouse clicks and entry
of 4 parameters in submitting a request set to print the PO. Now that she has the
Magic Button, she can send a PO while in the PO screen with the simple click of the
Deliver with AventX icon. We have rolled the functionality out across all of our
responsibilities that have access to PO printing and are now working with STR to
implement the functionality in other modules such as Order Management. If you have
not seen or tried this functionality yet, you should get in touch with your contact at STR
immediately. It will save you time, and time is money!
