LNMILNDA I
Ll Congreso no hara ley alguna por la que
adopte una religin como oicial del
Lstado o se prohba practicarla
libremente, o que coarte la libertad de
palabra o de imprenta, o el derecho del
pueblo para reunirse pacicamente y para
pedir al gobierno la reparacin de
agrarios.
LNMILNDA II
Siendo necesaria una milicia bien
ordenada para la seguridad de un Lstado
Libre, no se iolara el derecho del pueblo
a poseer y portar armas.
LNMILNDA III
Ln tiempo de paz a ningn militar se le
alojara en casa alguna sin el
consentimiento del propietario, ni en
tiempo de guerra, como no sea en la
orma que prescriba la ley.
LNMILNDA IV
Ll derecho de los habitantes de que sus
personas, domicilios, papeles y eectos se
hallen a salo de pesquisas y
aprehensiones arbitrarias, sera iniolable, y
no se expediran al eecto mandamientos
que no se apoyen en un motio erosmil,
estn corroborados mediante juramento o
protesta y describan con particularidad el
lugar que deba ser registrado y las
personas o cosas que han de ser detenidas
o embargadas.
LNMILNDA V
Nadie estara obligado a responder de un
delito castigado con la pena capital o con
otra inamante si un gran jurado no lo
denuncia o acusa, a excepcin de los casos
que se presenten en las uerzas de mar o
tierra o en la milicia nacional cuando se
encuentre en sericio eectio en tiempo
de guerra o peligro pblico, tampoco se
pondra a persona alguna dos eces en
peligro de perder la ida o algn miembro
con motio del mismo delito, ni se le

AMMLNDMLN1 I
Congress shall make no law respecting an
establishment o religion, or prohibiting
the ree exercise thereo, or abridging the
reedom o speech, or o the press, or the
right o the people peaceably to assemble,
and to petition the goernment or a
redress o grieances.

AMMLNDMLN1 II
A well regulated militia, being necessary to
the security o a ree state, the right o the
people to keep and bear arms, shall not be
inringed.
AMMLNDMLN1 III
No soldier shall, in time o peace be
quartered in any house, without the
consent o the owner, nor in time o war,
but in a manner to be prescribed by law.

AMMLNDMLN1 IV
1he right o the people to be secure in
their persons, houses, papers, and eects,
against unreasonable searches and seizures,
shall not be iolated, and no warrants shall
issue, but upon probable cause, supported
by oath or airmation, and particularly
describing the place to be searched, and
the persons or things to be seized.


AMMLNDMLN1 V
No person shall be held to answer or a
capital, or otherwise inamous crime,
unless on a presentment or indictment o a
grand jury, except in cases arising in the
land or naal orces, or in the militia, when
in actual serice in time o war or public
danger, nor shall any person be subject or
the same oense to be twice put in
jeopardy o lie or limb, nor shall be
compelled in any criminal case to be a
con motio del mismo delito, ni se le
compeliera a declarar contra s misma en
ningn juicio criminal, ni se le priara de
la ida, la libertad o la propiedad sin el
debido proceso legal, ni se ocupara la
propiedad priada para uso pblico sin
una justa indemnizacin.
LNMILNDA VI
Ln toda causa criminal, el acusado gozara
del derecho de ser juzgado rapidamente y
en pblico por un jurado imparcial del
distrito y Lstado en que el delito se haya
cometido, Distrito que debera haber sido
determinado preiamente por la ley, as
como de que se le haga saber la naturaleza
y causa de la acusacin, de que se le caree
con los testigos que depongan en su
contra, de que se obligue a comparecer a
los testigos que le aorezcan y de contar
con la ayuda de un abogado que lo
deienda.
LNMILNDA VII
Ll derecho a que se entilen ante un
jurado los juicios de derecho
consuetudinario en que el alor que se
discuta exceda de einte dlares, sera
garantizado, y ningn hecho de que haya
conocido un jurado sera objeto de nueo
examen en tribunal alguno de los Lstados
Unidos, como no sea con arreglo a las
normas del derecho consuetudinario.
LNMILNDA VIII
No se exigiran ianzas excesias, ni se
impondran multas excesias, ni se
inligiran penas crueles y desusadas.
LNMILNDA IX
No por el hecho de que la Constitucin
enumera ciertos derechos ha de
entenderse que niega o menosprecia otros
que retiene el pueblo.
LNMILNDA X
Los poderes que la Constitucin no delega
a los Lstados Unidos ni prohbe a los
Lstados, queda reserados a los Lstados
respectiamente o al pueblo.

AMMLNDMLN1 VI
In all criminal prosecutions, the accused
shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public
trial, by an impartial jury o the state and
district wherein the crime shall hae been
committed, which district shall hae been
preiously ascertained by law, and to be
inormed o the nature and cause o the
accusation, to be conronted with the
witnesses against him, to hae compulsory
process or obtaining witnesses in his
aor, and to hae the assistance o
counsel or his deense.

AMMLNDMLN1 VII
In suits at common law, where the alue in
controersy shall exceed twenty dollars,
the right o trial by jury shall be presered,
and no act tried by a jury, shall be
otherwise reexamined in any court o the
United States, than according to the rules
o the common law.


AMMLNDMLN1 VIII
Lxcessie bail shall not be required, nor
excessie ines imposed, nor cruel and
unusual punishments inlicted.
AMMLNDMLN1 IX
1he enumeration in the Constitution, o
certain rights, shall not be construed to
deny or disparage others retained by the
people.
AMMLNDMLN1 X
1he powers not delegated to the United
States by the Constitution, nor prohibited
by it to the states, are resered to the states
respectiely, or to the people.
