To identify prospective students with disabilities and consequently, to establish baseline data as to the population of students with special needs (esp. the developmentally challenged) currently enrolled in the University. To gather relevant and valid information vis-a-vis students strengths and needs (i.e. students interactions with the environment). To understand students learning and developmental concerns, and to assist with appropriate educational planning for the student, which includes placement, intervention, and accommodations.
To identify the extent to which international students adjust particularly in the psycho-social and cultural aspect. Consequently, to address areas of difficulty/maladjustment faced by foreign students of the University.
Medical check-up; emotional/behavioral assessment. Administration of Tennessee Self- Concept Scale Interview with teachers and parents. Feedback from teachers re: instructional support, to wit: Classroom Set- up Pace and Mode of Instruction; Alternative Formatting and Exam Adjustments Use of Assistive Technology
Identify officially enrolled foreign students in the University. Administration of a structured survey questionnaire on
