BRAC BANK LIMITED
Brief
BRAC Bank is one of the fastest growing Banks of our country. The BRAC BANK LIMITED has
been started its Banking business since 2002 through authorization from Bangladesh Bank. Now
it has 72 branches of Bank & 180 ATM booths, 59 SME sales & service center and 429 SME unit
office, 32 cash deposit machines, 1560 POS terminals, 19 utility service bill payment booths and
also 1900 remittance delivery points across all over the country. At present Mr. Mahabubur
Rahman operates total banking activities as a managing director and Rumi Ali who is Chairman
of the Bank. Now BRAC Bank is doing its Banking business with good reputation. BRAC Banks
total customer touch point is 3814 and its serving now 878837 customers all over the country.
Besides these recently BRAC bank has started its banking activities across the country.

Job Summary
The position is responsible for selling bank loan products to the potential clients and
maintaining relationship to the existing and new client of the bank. On the other hand to
expand banking business and select a positive business enterprise where the ban can provide
loan facilities without risk. For these reasons a Customer Relation Officer needs to survey the
selected area find out the potential client. This job is fully target oriented and the officers
stability & promotion in the bank is completely depending on his/her target achievement.



Scope and Impact of Job
Responsibilities (Budget or Revenue):
This position is responsible for the achievement of bank budgeted target in the area of Small &
Medium Enterprise loan section.
Supervisory Responsibilities (Direct and Indirect):
None
Other:
To build up relationship with existing client and convince the new entrepreneur and also
marketing different products of the bank.


Primary & Secondary Responsibility
Survey the selected area.
Identify the probable customer/borrower.
Visit the potential enterprises whose are interested for bank loan.
Collect necessary data about enterprise and entrepreneur.
If the data fulfill the loan requirement then prepare a loan proposal.
At first it would be approved by the Zonal Manager.
After approvement of Zonal Manager send the loan proposal to the credit department.
The Credit Risk Management inquiry about the enterprise with the officers cooperation.
If the inquiry result becomes positive then the loan must be approved.
After approve a loan the officer needs to collect other required documents for the
disbursement of loan amount.
Help the new client to open the bank account for collecting their loan amount.
Try to diversify a loan in different sector of business.
Need to give assurance to the borrower for feeling comfortable.




Job Specification
Educational Requirements:
BBA/MBA or Hons/Masters in commerce background with strong academic records from any
recognized university.
Related Work Experience:
Freshers can apply but experience in the related field of any bank/financial institute give the
priority.
Other Requirements:
Age must be below 32 years.
Familiar with Microsoft office program and Accounting software (ERP).
Must be fluent in both Bengali and English communication.
Discipline, Energetic, Diligent, Initiative and Ability to perform in all situations.
Good interpersonal skill, Strong analytical skill, Independent working to perform all the
relevant duties as well as banking activities capabilities.
Self motivated and self starter, Capable to influence others and gaining commitment,
Supervision skill, Team player and High level of professional integrity would be required.
