PERSONALITY AND INTEGRATED LEADERSHIP FINAL INDIVIDUAL WORK
OF
ORDEQUITO P. LUMACTOD, JR.

1. Start with biographical summary of yourself (e.g., origins, family
background, education, training, etc.)
I was born this way. I am Ordequito Prudente Lumactod, Jr, and I proudly live
the life I wanted.
On the eve of 29
th
of June 1989, my parents were very happy when they gave
birth to their 4
th
child, and that was me. My parents are Lydia Doseo Prudente from
Iloilo City and Ordequito Sedayon Lumactod, Sr. who lived in Libertad, Escalante with
his origins. We were 6 in the family and I have 3 siblings, being the youngest among
siblings, I am much loved by my parents. Weve been raised by our parents with good
education and values as inculcated in our hearts and minds. Presently, I am the only
single sibling and with me are my parents and my niece.
At 6, I went to Dian-ay Elementary School and eventually graduated in 2001 as
1
st
Hon. Mention. I completed my secondary education at Dian-ay National High School
in 2005 as Class Salutatorian. I was determined to pursue my tertiary education and I
applied for a scholarship program given by the local government of Escalante City for
four years. I enrolled at Mount Carmel College, Escalante City and took Bachelor in
Secondary Education Major in Mathematics. On my 2
nd
year in college, I changed my
course to BEED, General Education. I successfully graduated in 2009.
Because of perseverance and dedication to work, I am now a Teacher 1 of
Binaguiohan Elemetary School, Division of Escalante City. In our school, I am the Grade
VI-1 Adviser handling Science Subject in Grades 4-6. I am also the SPG Adviser, Science
School Coordinator, School Testing Coordinator, and School Paper Adviser. Recently Ive
been recognized in the Div isionfor obtaining 82.56% MPS in Science VI in NAT 2013.
Currently studying at NONESCOST taking up MAED and preparing for my
Comprehensive Exam.
I am happy and looking forward to be a successful teacher or school
administrator in the future.

2. Discuss your PERSONLAITY TRAITS as highlighted in the results of the
PERSONAL ASSESSMENT TESTS, indicating what your potentials are.

The following are my results after taking MBTI, Multiple Intelligences and
Emotional Intelligences tests:

Humanmetrics Jung Typology Test

Extravert(44%) Sensing(12%) Feeling(62%) Perceiving(11%)

You have moderate preference of Extraversion over Introversion (44%)

You have slight preference of Sensing over Intuition (12%)

You have distinctive preference of Feeling over Thinking (62%)

You have slight preference of Perceiving over Judging (11%)

Extraversion (E)
I like getting my energy from active involvement in events and having a lot of
different activities. Im excited when Im around people and I like to energize other
people. I like moving into action and making things happen. I generally feel at home in
the world. I often understand a problem better when I can talk out loud about it and
hear what others have to say.
The following statements generally apply to me:
I am seen as outgoing or as a people person.
I feel comfortable in groups and like working in them.
I have a wide range of friends and know lots of people.
I sometimes jump too quickly into an activity and dont allow enough time to
think it over.
Before I start a project, I sometimes forget to stop and get clear on what I want
to do and why.
Intuition (N)
Paying the most attention to impressions or the meaning and patterns of the
information I get. I would rather learn by thinking a problem through than by hands-on
experience. Im interested in new things and what might be possible, so that I think
more about the future than the past. I like to work with symbols or abstract theories,
even if I dont know how I will use them. I remember events more as an impression of
what it was like than as actual facts or details of what happened.
The following statements generally apply to me:
o I remember events by what I read between the lines about their meaning.
o I solve problems by leaping between different ideas and possibilities.
o I am interested in doing things that are new and different.
o I like to see the big picture, then to find out the facts.
o I trust impressions, symbols, and metaphors more than what I actually
experienced
o Sometimes I think so much about new possibilities that I never look at how to
make them a reality.
Feeling (F)
I believe I can make the best decisions by weighing what people care about and
the points-of-view of persons involved in a situation. I am concerned with values and
what is the best for the people involved. I like to do whatever will establish or maintain
harmony. In my relationships, I appear caring, warm, and tactful.
The following statements generally apply to me:
o I have a people or communications orientation.
o I am concerned with harmony and nervous when it is missing.
o I look for what is important to others and express concern for others.
o I make decisions with my heart and want to be compassionate.
o I believe being tactful is more important than telling the cold truth.
o Sometimes I miss seeing or communicating the hard truth of situations.
o I am sometimes experienced by others as too idealistic, mushy, or indirect.
Judging (J)
I use my decision-making (Judging) preference (whether it is Thinking or
Feeling) in my outer life. To others, I seem to prefer a planned or orderly way of life,
like to have things settled and organized, feel more comfortable when decisions are
made, and like to bring life under control as much as possible.
Since this pair only describes what I prefer in the outer world, I may, inside, feel
flexible and open to new information (which I am).
Do not confuse Judging with judgmental, in its negative sense about people and events.
They are not related.
The following statements generally apply to me:
o I like to have things decided.
o I appear to be task oriented.
o I like to make lists of things to do.
o I like to get my work done before playing.
o I plan work to avoid rushing just before a deadline.
o Sometimes I focus so much on the goal that I miss new information.

5. Describe your PERSONAL VISION AND MISSION in the context of your
Personal Leadership Development.

MISSION
I will live each day as if it were my last, building relationships that last a lifetime,
focusing first on my life, second on my family, third on my friendships and fourth on my
work.
I live to create, build, nourish and grow. I will live life within the constraints that
are acceptable to me. I will never live life under the control of values that are not
acceptable to anyone but myself.
I will never fail in my mission to succeed.
I will never quit in my desire to achieve.
VISION
I am a valuable and capable person, actively pursuing everything I do with
wisdom, authenticity and gratitude and I make a difference in my world through my
work as a leader and a teacher.
6. Enumerate and describe your PERSONAL VALUES and GOALS.
VALUES GOALS
ambition, competency, equality, integrity,
service, responsibility, respect, dedication,
diversity, improvement, enjoyment/fun,
loyalty, credibility, honesty, teamwork,
excellence, accountability, empowerment,
quality, efficiency, dignity,
accomplishment, courage, wisdom,
independence, security, challenge,
influence, learning, compassion,
friendliness, discipline/order, generosity,
persistency, optimism, dependability,
flexibility

I demonstrate and model my values
in action in my personal and work
behaviors, decision making, contribution,
and interpersonal interaction.
I use my values to make decisions
about priorities in my daily work and home
life.
My goals and life purpose are grounded
in my values.
It is often said that our desires are
endless. When one gets fulfilled, the other
one crops up. There is nothing wrong with
this though, cause all the discoveries,
progress, etc. that we see around, is
actually a result of the limitless desires of
humans. Goals justify the means to
achieve something. If you have a definite
and positive plan of action and goals to
fulfill, they help you grow and at the same
time work for the betterment of others.

Here are my long and short-term
examples of personal goals:
1. Health Goals
2. Intellectual/Creative Goals
3. Spiritual Goals
4. Societal Goals
5. Familial Goals

9. Briefly discuss a model or exemplary individual whom you will edify in
becoming a SUCCESSFUL HEROIC SERVANT LEADER (School Administrator).
Some people are born more naturally to leadership than others. Most people don't seek
to be a leader, but many more people are able to lead, in one way or another and in
one situation or another, than they realize.
People who want to be a leader can develop leadership ability. Leadership is not the
exclusive preserve of the wealthy and educated.
Leadership is a matter of personal conviction and believing strongly in a cause or aim,
whatever it is.
Leadership sometimes comes to people later in life, and this is no bad thing. Humanity
tends to be generational characteristic. There is no real obstacle to people who seek to
become leaders if leadership is approached with proper integrity. Anyone can be a
leader if he/she is suitably driven to a particular cause.
And many qualities of effective leadership, like confidence and charisma, continue to
grow from experience in the leadership role. Even initially surprised modest leaders can
become great ones, and sometimes the greatest ones.
If there is one person whom I wanted to follow her steps, it would be our Principal,
Mrs. Annie R. Tuto. She possessed the qualities I mentioned above.
