TITLE

CHARACTERS

Elsa She is the older sister of Anna who has an ice magical power and crowned as the Queen of
Arendelle later on. From the outside, she looks poised, regal and reserved but in reality, she lives in
fear but cares and loves her sister so much.
Anna She is the younger sister of Elsa who is more daring than graceful and, at times, can act before
she thinks. But shes an optimistic, fearless and caring person.
Olaf He is a friendly and alive snowman who likes warm hugs and was made by Queen Elsa. He helped
Anna and Kristoff in their journey to find Elsa.
Kristoff He is a courageous mountain man who becomes a companion of Princess Anna during her
quest to find her sister. His job is to gather ice and sell it with his reindeer, Sven.
Sven Kristoffs pet reinder who really likes to eat carrots
Pabbie - He is a wise elderly troll who rules the mystical area known as the Valley of the Living Rock,
a land inhabited by dozen of trolls. He knows about the Queens power and he knows the solutions
around it.
Hans of the Southern Isles He is the main antagonist of the story who is an ambitious and cruel
prince.
King Agdar and Queen Idun They are the deceased parents of Queen Elsa and Anna.
Oaken He is a minor character who runs the shop, Wandering Oakens Trading Post and Sauna in the
middle of the snowy mountains outside Arendelle.

SETTINGS

The story takes place in the land of Arendelle, a Scandinavian region located possibly in Norway. The
places of interest includes:
Arendelle Castle A castle where the royal family lives which includes Anna and Elsa.
Arendelle Chapel - The chapel where the Queens coronation took place.
The Valley of the Living Rock This is where Pabbie and the trolls live. The characters goes in the valley
in attempt to find a solution about Elsas power.
The Forest This is where the trading post of Oaken is located and where Anna bought her winter
clothes.
The North Mountain A mountain where Elsa ran off to and where Elsas Ice Palace is located.
Elsas Ice Palace - A palace constructed by Elsa using her powers and where Anna and Kristoff found
the Queen.

PLOT SUMMARY

The beginning of the story tells the state of life what Arendelle has.

Once there were young girls who were sisters, Anna and Elsa. They were joyous playmates and inseparable
friends. But Elsa's special power, her ability to turn anything to ice and snow in a flash from her fingertips
comes back to haunt her when she accidentally zaps her sister when they were playing.

A magical troll king, Pabbie, heals Anna and erases the event from her memory, but as for the sisters'
relationship, the damage is done. Pabbie warned Elsa that her greatest enemy will be fear. In order for Elsa to
protect her sister Anna, she locked herself away which devastates the younger Anna. Her parents also closed
down the castle to limit contacts from the outside. The sisters parents left Arendelle and a tragedy occurred to
them.

The sisters grew up and it's Elsa's turn to take over the throne at age 18, the two sisters experience an awkward
reunion. Anna is a little nervous but overjoyed to see her sister. However, Elsa remains distant, and with gloved
hands hopes not to freeze anything. When in the moments of heightened emotion, Elsa unleashes her power
which she needs to control.

Anna met Prince Hans in the coronation and believed that she was in love with Prince Hans. The two agreed on
marriage and they seek for Queen Elsas blessing. But Queen Elsa disapproves and Anna feels hurt and loses
her temper. The confrontation between the sisters become larger and larger until out of blind anger, Elsa shows
her power. Elsa dashes away because of fear and made her way to the highest mountain she can find.

Afterward, Anna embarked on a journey to find her sister and restore order to the kingdom which is now
frozen. Along the way she gets help from an ice salesman named Kristoff and his trusty reindeer pet sidekick,
Sven. They all meet up with a singing snowman named Olaf.

Olaf led Anna and the others to Elsas ice palace but Elsa feared that she may harm Anna. The two sisters talked
until Elsa accidentally strikes Anna in the heart. The snow monster chases Anna and her friends out and away
from the palace. After reaching safety, Annas hair is turning completely white.

Kristoff leads Anna to the Valley of the Living Rock hoping for Annas cure. Pabbie told them that the cure would
be true loves kiss. Anna believed that she have to head back hoping to receive a kiss from Hans.

Meanwhile in Elsas ice palace, Elsa was chased and captured by the royal guards. Hans and Anna reunited but
Hans refuses to kiss her and reveals his true nature. It turns out Hans has planned on murdering Elsa and Anna
to take over Arendelle.

Hans accused Elsa for killing her sister and was sentenced to death. Elsa managed to escape the dungeon.

Olaf comes up to save the Anna and told her about real love by putting someone elses need before yours. Anna
believed it was Kristoff who will save her and decided to escape to meet him.

Running, Anna hears a sword being drawn away. She realizes Hans is preparing to kill Elsa. Anna rushes
towards Elsa to save her and freezes solid completely. Prince Hans is knocked onto the ground and Annas dying
breath is lost. Elsa notices what happened and wraps her arms around Anna. Soon thereafter, Anna thaws from
her frozen state, beginning around her heart, as Annas willingly ultimate sacrifice for Elsa is an act of true
sisterly love.

In the end, Elsa learned to control her powers and Arendelle is restored to peace. Elsa turns the castle courtyard
into an ice rink and the entire kingdom joining in.

MORAL LESSONS OF THE STORY

There are five moral lessons in Disneys Frozen:
1. Your actions affect others Elsa believed that she has no longer has responsibility towards anyone
when she ran away from Arendelle but it turns out that she froze the kingdom. In the end, Elsa realizes
that no matter how far she goes away from people, her actions will still affect others.
2. The need for self-control Like how Elsa needed to control her powers, one should master self-
control.
3. The power of sacrifice Elsa sacrifices her own happiness to keep Anna safe. Kristoff gives up his
chance for true love so that Anna can be happy. Olaf keeps Anna alive by fire, despite of warmer
temperature that would melt him. This redefines true love.
4. Love takes time and is built upon sacrifice At the beginning of the film, Anna is immature when it
comes to love. Love is not based on mutual attraction or infatuation. Her understanding of love
becomes much deeper as we watch the film. Love takes time and it includes learning the true colors of
the one you love.
5. True love conquers it all When Anna is frozen, Elsa showed true love and it made Anna alive again.
