2 My intent that day when I called the
3 sheriff's office was to stop something before
4 it developed into something violent.
5 My reason for giving the police officer
6 the address of 8146 Morse Road, which is my
7 father's address, was because we were in a
8 field behind his house. That was the closest
9 thing to an address there was to give the
10 police officer. So it would make no sense for
11 me to give my home address.
12 THE COURT: I understand. But was there
13 a club?
14 MS. ALYSON BEEM: There was. I did have
15 a club in my car. I never used it against the
16 petitioner. She said -- I really kind of wish
17 you would take a look at the pictures of the
18 field. She claims my sister held her back in
19 the field by swinging a club. These are open
20 fields. You couldn't hold someone. I mean,
21 they are wide open.
22 THE COURT: Okay. Was there a club
23 being swung?
24 MS. ALYSON BEEM: No. There was never a
25 club swung. There was never a club swung that

2 THE COURT: Was the club brought out of
3 the car?
4 MS. ALYSON BEEM: I handed the club to
5 my sister when I left --
6 THE COURT: Okay.
7 MS. ALYSON BEEM: -- because I feared
8 for her safety with my niece. But a club was
9 never swung at the petitioner.
10 THE COURT: But you left so --
11 MS. ALYSON BEEM: I had to go to meet
12 the police.
13 THE COURT: You took the club out of the
14 car and then you left?
15 MS. ALYSON BEEM: Yes.
16 THE COURT: Okay.
17 MS. ALYSON BEEM: Then I went to -- to
18 my father's house so I could meet the police,
19 show them where the incident took place.
20 THE COURT: Okay.
21 MS. ALYSON BEEM: Now, the petitioner
22 also claims that my niece keyed her car. And
23 it's very convenient, when she gave her
24 statement to the police the day that the events
25 occurred, she never pointed that out to the
