EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Philippine Phosphoric Acid Corporation (PPAC) is an innovative company committed to
manufacture good and high-quality phosphoric acid to satisfy customer needs and contribute to
countrys sustainable development. The company produces phosphoric acid through dihydrate
process. The dihydrate process comprises four stages: grinding, reaction, filtration and concentration.
The conventional dihydrate process remains the most predominant because of its low capital cost, low
operating temperatures and flexibility of operation. But, in spite of the various modifications, each
striving to produce rapidly filterable gypsum crystals, lower P2O5 losses and produce acid of higher
concentration, the dihydrate process suffers from relatively low P2O5 recovery and low strength of
acid. The principal natural source of phosphoric acid today is produced from phosphatic ores mined.

PPAC aims to be the primary phosphoric acid manufacturer and supplier by producing high
quality products and establishing strong connection in both local and international markets and it
envisions itself to become the leading phosphoric acid manufacturer and supplier in the Philippines;
providing phosphoric acid in accordance to the standard conforming to the demand of the product for
technical, industrial, food, semiconductor grade phosphoric acid.

Phosphorus-based builders for the detergent industry is a major application for phosphoric acid.
Phosphoric acid is also used in the manufacture of superphosphate fertilizers, livestock feeds,
phosphate salts, polyphosphates, soaps, waxes, polishes and detergents.

In pursuit of establishing a world class manufacturing company to venture in international market, an
increase in plant performances production measures, human resource measures, supply chain
measures, are made competitive globally by the Philippine Phosphoric Acid Corporation (PPAC)
committed to excellence and is valued and trusted by its customer and its business partners. This is
accomplished with consistent implementation of best practices and facilities that outperform other non-
world competitors that will be monitored by trusted workforce.

The Philippine Phosphoric Acid Corporation (PPAC) is capable of producing ______kg of
phosphoric acid annually to partly supply the increasing market demand internationally and locally in an
affordable and reasonable price. The plant location in _________ is chosen based on its accessibility
to the bulk raw material phosphate rocks and the target market with consideration to water source
quality and quantity, special business incentives, climatic conditions, utilities costs and availability,
treatment facility and operating labor. Furthermore, the space acquired can accommodate the possible
expansion of the plant after ten (5) years. The company will operate 360 days in a year with plant
shutdown during December. It is composed of seven departments, the Research and Development,
Human Resources, Finance, Marketing and Sales, Production, Maintenance and Utilities, Quality
Assurance and Quality Control.
