Operation Christmas Child CONNECT volunteers

serve on local Area Teams throughout the
year. They encourage others to pack gift-lled
shoeboxes, which are making an eternal impact in
childrens lives. Is God calling you to use your skills
and talents in one of the following ministry areas?
CHURCH RELATIONS
TEAMS
Reach out to churches in your local area and
encourage them to full the Great Commission.
PRAYER TEAMS
Enlist local churches and groups to pray regularly
for the ministry of Operation Christmas Child and
join with the local Area Team to lift up specic
needs in prayer.
COMMUNITY
RELATIONS TEAMS
Build relationships with local community groups,
businesses, organisations and workplaces to
encourage them to pack shoebox gifts or promote
partnerships that bring awareness to the ministry.
MEDIA RELATIONS
TEAMS
Seek and build relationships with local media outlets
including print, radio and television, in order to build
awareness of Operation Christmas Child. These
CONNECT volunteers serve with media partners to
share the impact these gifts make on a childs life
and encourage more people to get involved.
LEADERSHIP
Inspire and lead others in growing the local Area
Team together in Christ and in opportunities for
shoebox gifts in the community.
LOGISTICS (Seasonal)
CONNECT volunteers at shoebox collection sites
enjoy using their gifts of organisation, planning and
hospitality to welcome donors to their site, collect
the carefully wrapped shoeboxes and facilitate the
transportation of these precious gifts to children in
need.

and pray for the child who will
receive it, you help share the gospel
and the true meaning of Christmas
with children around the world. But,
theres more you can do. Operation
Christmas Child has many volunteer
opportunities, so that together we
can reach even more needy children
around the world.
