This standard specifes the requirements
for High Visibility materials used in
the manufacture of industrial safety
garments worn in situations where the
wearer needs to be highly visible
Class D/N garments are suitable for
either day or night use and consist of both
high visibility fabric and refective tape
Class D garments are suitable for day
use only and consist of high visibility
fabric. These garments should never be
worn at night
Our fabrics have been UPF tested against
Australian Standard AS/NZ 4399:1996.
This means garments have excellent
protection and the highest level of UV
protection achievable in accordance with
the above standard
3M 8910 Used for general
domestic washing
3M 9920 Used for Industrial laundering
3M 8935 Flame Resistant tape, suitable
for Industrial wash
Our garments are able to withstand the

From trade to transport, the WorkCraft range has
been designed and manufactured to exceed the
demands of modern industry. Every item is rugged and
hardwearing, but not at the expense of ft, comfort and
ease of movement. In short, WorkCraft is designed to

The WorkCraft stock service range provides
something for everyone. Far from drab and predictable,
it incorporates a range of colours, fabrics, sizes and
styles. Customers have a variety of features available
such as tool pockets, mobile phone pockets, pen
dividers and reinforced stress points. Uniquely, the
WorkCraft stock range even includes garments
suitable for industrial laundering.
Gone are the days of certain styles and colours denoting
occupations. Whatever garment specifcs are required,
NCC can make it. In true working tradition, no order is too
big or too small.
Quality and durability are the hallmarks of WorkCraft
garments. All garments comply with Australian
Standard AS/NZS 4602.1:2011, and all fabrics comply
with AS/NZS 1906.4:2010. We use only internationally
recognised 3M Retrorefective Tape, #8910 for general
domestic washing and #9920 for industrial wash at
extreme temperatures.

A burning need
These days, its all about risk management. Companies
have legal obligations under Occupational Health & Safety
regulations to mitigate risk and safeguard employees like
never before especially in industries where severe or
even fatal burns are an everyday possibility.
Providing adequate protective measures in these
circumstances can be a problem. But Flamebuster from
NCC is here to provide a solution.
Critical protection
Flamebuster garments from NCC combine the
uncompromising quality, reliability and comfort for
which our products are renowned, with the proven fre-
resistant characteristics of two of the worlds most highly
regarded protective fabrics. The result is total peace
of mind for those workers and employers in industries
involving petro-chemical, electrical, oil, welding,
chemicals and molten metals.
It only takes a momentary electric arc, fash fre or
molten metal splash for non-fame-resistant clothing to
ignite, and it will continue to burn even after the source
of ignition has been removed. Flame-resistant clothing,
however, not only provides thermal protection at the
exposure area, it will also self-extinguish after the source
of ignition is gone. In other words, it has the potential to
avert disaster.
Why Flamebuster works
The quality of flame-resistant clothing depends on the
fabric with which it is manufactured. Flamebuster
garments are offered with a choice of two of the
worlds leading flame-resistant textiles Ultra Soft
and PROBAN. Both fabrics comply to Australian
Standard AS/NZS 4824:2006 Protective Clothing -
Wildland Fire Fighting.
Ultra Soft 88% Cotton, 12% High-tenacity Nylon
Performance and comfort feature in all garments
produced using Ultra Soft fabrics. The outer surface has
enhanced wear-life due to the nylons excellent abrasion
resistance, and on the inside, breathable cotton fbres
optimise comfort against the skin. Flame resistance is
guaranteed for the life of every Ultra Soft garment,
even when using the most rigorous industrial laundering.
PROBAN - 100% Cotton
A pre-cursor chemical is applied using a licensed process
to impart a durable fame retardant treatment to cotton
and cotton synthetic blended fabrics. Flame retardancy
is achieved by the formation of a highly cross-linked inert
polymer within the fbre.
Rather than igniting, PROBAN treated fabrics
decompose under the infuence of fame to form a
localised insulating char which stays in place and helps to
protect the wearer. PROBAN fabrics and garments do
not smoulder, have no afterglow, and will not allow fame
to spread outside the charred area.
