PROJECT REPORT
OF
SURGICAL PRODUCTS
M/S. RAJESHWARI TEXTILES


INTRODUCTION
Surgical Products proposed in this project are surgical sterilized cotton, various
cotton pads, Bandage cloth, absorbent gauze, Gamjee Pads, Sponges, and allied items.
These products have huge demands as they are used in literally every clinics and hospitals at
every time. This product has no any substitute or alternatives. But, the proprietor has
concentrated on large supply only since long.


INTRODUCTION OF THE PROPRIETOR
This project is proposed by Mr. Amit Surawashi in his proprietary capacity. He is
already in the trading business and had worked in production in the past. He has done B.
Pharm. and has 10 years experience in this field. Now, he has decided to start own unit.


REGISTRATION DETAILS
As this project is proposed as a proprietary firm, there is no other specific
registration required with regards to constitution of the firm. Further, various registrations
regarding supply and quality i.e. drug mfg. license approved product list, Maharashtra Govt.,
Central Gove. Supplier requirements, with ISO 9001 shall be taken afterwards when we shall
arrive in the stage of production.

UNIT REGISTRATION DETAILS
This project shall be a small scale unit as per GR of Govt. of Maharashtra and MSME
Act. Registration under MSME Act as a SSI unit shall be given by DIC is in process.


LOCATION
This project is proposed in Vita. This location is situated at D+ Zone as per
notification by State Government, making the project eligible for the Assistance Subsidy
from the State Government. Further, being resident of Vita, it is easy for the proprietor to
monitor the project.


BUILDING:
It is proposed to construct building for the project under the guidelines of WHO.
Approval of GMP of Food & Drugs Administration, Maharashtra State is also to be taken.


PLANT & MACHINERY:
This project is of manufacturing surgical products. The list and the quotations for the
machines are attached separately.


EFFLUENT & SCRAP
In this process no water used for industrial purpose. Thus no industrial effluent is
generated. The water is used for Domestic purpose & domestic effluent is used for tree
plantation and gardening.

GOVERNMENT ASSISTANCE
This project shall be eligible for government assistance (subsidy) under PSI 2013
Scheme for VAT based Incentives, refund of Octroi at 100 % and Interest Subsidy of 5%.
Apart from that, it is also eligible for Exemption of Electric Duty for 15 years and stamp duty.

Machinery is purchased by the proprietor from his own funds already. Bank loan is
