In written test there were only two questions. First was to write an essay and second was to write a
program. The topic given for essay was, "How computers have affected human life", and the program
was to find the number of days between the two given dates. The two dates will be entered by the
user....
To clear written test you should have good hand writing an a sound knowledge of programming
<B>3. Technical Interview</B>
My technical interview was of one hour. The first question was introduce yourself. next he ask question
regarding my major project. If you have made your project by your own you have no problem otherwise
there will be a problem......He asked me about my project for atleast 30 minutes. I have written in my
resume that my favorites subjects are DBMS, OOPS and Operating system so he asked me to solve
DBMS queries than he asked me about virtual functions, virtual class, live example of polymorphism and
many simple question of OOPS... he also asked me paging, condition of deadlock, semaphore and many
other questions from operating system.....Guys write only those things in Resume with which you are
thorough because everything they asked you is from your resume...............
He also asked me solve two puzzles which were very easy
<B>4. HR round</B>
Mine HR Round was only of 20 minutes..
The questions fired in HR Round were:
1. Introduce yourself....
2. Why you want to join MindTree ?
3. What do you know about MindTree ?
4. Who are the clients of MindTree ?
for hr interview be cool and confident. there is very small probability of getting eliminated from hr
round......Finaly the result was announce at 10:30 pm and 32 students were selected. Only written test
was the main elimination round so if you cleared that, 70% you are selected.
Paper 1: Technical Test( C Lang) 15 questions in 30 min
C code algorithms were given and we need to detrmine the output from 4 options.
Some problems based on prime nos and some based on even & odd nos. For some other problems we
should know A.P. & G.P. formulae to solve easily. Knowing basics like sum of this much of nos ( for ex:
sum of nos frm 1 to 100 ) and sum of this types nos ( ex: sum of odd & even nos frm 1 to 100 ) ll help you
very much. It was purely objective and No -ve marking.
Paper 2: English (7 min) A scenario was given to us and accordingly we had to write an E-Mail within 25-
125 words.
This was to test ur vocabulary, grammar etc. Follow a std format.
Paper 3: Programming Test ( 1 Hour)
This is the most impt part. If u write the pgm correctly, ur selection ll b confirmed by 85%. A problem
statement was given and we had to write a C/C++/Java program.
Be very clear with the String functions.
Write a function which accepts a sentence as input parameter.
Each words in that sentence is to b reversed ( remember: not the whole sentence to b reversed, each
words should b reversed ). Space should b there between each words.
Return the sentence with reversed words to main function and produce the required output

The interviewer starts with general HR questions like Tell me something about urself.
Then he asked about my interests and hobbies.
Then he asked what is the tough event in ur life. I explained him one incident and also explaind how I
came across that event successfully.
Then he asked to explain the prgm I wrote in the first round. I ve explained. Then he asked me to
write the pgm of FIBINNOCI SERIES ( for some of my frnz, they ve asked to write some 3, 4 simple
pgms at the intrw. So b clear with the basic pgms atleast in anyone lang ) and I explained too.
Then asked abt my interested sub. I said OOPS and C, He asked me tel the diff btwn C and C++. I ve
explained. Thats it frm technical side.



General Apptitude:
The general apptitude consisted of 7 sections
Section 1(data interpretation)
4 flow charts.. each flow chart consisted of 5 questions.. so totally 20 questions my dear friends.. Here
problems were of the type where we have to check from the options given and mark it for the
appropriate symbol. Eg: For a rectangle symbol the options will be 1.A ranges from 2.5 to 3.5 .,2. A
ranges from 2 to 2.5, 3,4,5. something like that
Section 2:This is the speed maths section.. here 12 questions were asked that r to be solved in 3
minutesEg.
3*512/63=? Problems of these types .
U can solve this section by seeing the approximate answer Please be ACTIVE and fast
Section 3:
This section consisted of 20 questions that r to be solved in 3 minutes..
Its very very easy if u understand the sample problem given with u solution..

This section contained a flow chart that was very simple(do this first). 7 questions.
A flow chart wil be given and simple questions will be asked.
Section 7:10 Questions.
This section will have some paragraphs.Questions will be asked based on each paragraph.
Eg:
A passage of lines on some situation like the communication in an e-mail. And few questions based on
that(pretty simple).
