TIPS ON USING THIS TEMPLATE
Delete this page
Styles
Format your text using the styles in the drop-down list (or series of tabs) in the toolbar.
Simply highlight the text to be formatted and select the appropriate style from the drop-down
list. For example:
Cover has drop-down options to style the title, sub-title, and cover introduction
0 Chapter head should be used for every new chapter heading
A-head, B-Head, C-head should be used for 1st, 2
nd,
and 3
rd
level headings. Please
note that green text can only be used with headings at font size 18pt and above.
Text should be used for all text in the summary and main paper
Source normal should be used for table, graphic, image captions
Text list bullet or Text list numbered should be used for bulleted lists
Images and graphi cs
Please style all images and graphics as Picture frame and insert sources for each one.
Please insert diagrams/figures and charts as embedded excel charts (i.e. with excel file
attached and active), so that they can be edited and translated. Alternatively, send original
Excel files to the project manager with the final draft.
Please insert tables into the text in a form that they can be edited (i.e. not as 'pictures'),
preferably writing them into the report using the styles given for tables.
Figures and charts should use colours from the brand palette (see https://brand.oxfam.org),
preferably Oxfam green. Please also make sure that theyre readable when printed in black
and white.
Images and graphics should be low resolution for screen use (ie around 100 dots per inch -
dpi). If you plan to print a high quality version of the paper for distribution, you may want to
keep higher resolution versions of the images (ie 300 dpi) for use in a separate version.
Other logos: add these alongside the Oxfam logo on front cover and back cover (double click
in footer, then paste logo images as picture). Always place Oxfam logo at far right, and
partner logos to the left of the Oxfam logo. At least one M space between logos.
Alternatively, send the logos as png or jpg files to the PPCT project manager to insert for
you.
