Retail Price of Potato in the Philippines

The DA-Press Office stated that retail prices of highland vegetables such as carrots,
cabbage rareball, cabbage scorpio, white potato, sayote and pechay baguio continued
to decline from previous levels. The retail price of potato or white potato went down as
much as P 70 per kilo. (DA-Press Office, 2009)


According to the Bureau of Agricultural Statistics as of June 14, 2014, the highest
price of potato is P60 per kilo while the lowest price is P30 per kilo. The prevailing price
of potato is P40 per kilo. (Bureau of Agricultural Statistics, 2014)


From the information about Retail Price of Potato in the all the cities in Philippines,
Numbeo, a non-government worldwide organization, found out that the average price of
raw potato is P68.69 per kilo. Its price ranges from about P45.00 up to P90 per kilo.
