WHAT'S THE PROBLEM WE'RE TRYING TO SOLVE?
Cleethorpes Town F.C. were unfortunately the victims of a crime 2 weeks ago, we have had our
goal posts stolen and are looking to the community to help us in funding of our attempts to
purchase new Goal posts for the club and repair previous damages caused by the vandalism to
our dugouts and perimeter fences.
WHY DO WE CARE ABOUT THIS PROJECT?
The club know how important its games are to the community and we need to get this problem
addressed as soon as possible to avoid possible postponements to future games due to the lack
of goal posts at our disposable.
HOW WILL THE MONEY BE SPENT?
The whole amount of money raised will go into the buying of the new goal posts, fences and
dugouts surrounding our pitch.
WHEN WILL WE SEE THE DIFFERENCE?
The supporters will see an immediate difference as the goal posts, fencing required and dugouts
will be purchased as soon as the adequate funding has been achieved for each.

GOOD evening and welcome to our sixth sportsman's dinner, this time
with Grimsby Town legend John McDermott...

Sportsmans Dinner with non other
than John McDermott.
Hes a true legend not only locally
but for a man to stay with one club
for the whole of his career is a true
testament to his character.
There are not many footballers who
have made over 600 appearances in
their career let alone for one club.
He is a local hero and it is with
great pride we welcome him here
tonight to talk to you all.
On a different note, and what a
wonderful start to the season
Cleethorpes Town are having. To be
tal ki ng and i ntervi ewed about
Cleethorpes Town playing in the FA
Cup against a Conference North side
i s not hi ng s hor t of amaz i ng
considering not so long ago we were
languishing at the bottom of the
lincs league.
To get where we are has been
through hard work and graft and I
commend everyone involved.
We know tomorrows game is going
to be difficult against a side who
only just missed out on promotion to
the Conference National last season
but we have quality in our side and I
am confident we will show what a
good side we are.
We have also progressed into the
next round of both the FA Vase and
the NCEL League Cup as well as
picking up vital points in the league.
The opposition we are facing in the
NCEL Premier Division are much
improved to the sides we faced last
year. Week in, week out we must be
on top form to be within a shout of
gai ni ng any poi nt s and t hat s
testament to the league.
We have a tough October ahead of
us with 8 games and I would love to
see you down at Bradley watching
and cheering the lads on, the
s uppor t woul d be g r at ef ul l y
appreciated.
