Cleaning And Maintenance

CLEANING:

As with any type of floor regular cleaning will maintain Locktile’s® attractive appearance
and ensure maximum life for your floor.

Regular light cleaning is preferable to infrequent heavy cleaning.

After sweeping, any type of mop and general purpose cleaning detergent may be used to
clean your Locktile® floor. However in order to obtain best results and maximum life
from your floor we recommend using a micro fiber mop system with twin compartment
bucket available from most hardware or janitorial supply centers, together with a neutral
PH cleaning detergent such as “Fabuloso® all purpose cleaner”.

For larger areas a cylindrical scrubber dryer may be used.

MAINTENANCE:

General
Although Locktile® is resistant to oil and most chemicals (see technical specification
sheet) Nonetheless, it is prudent to remove any spillages as soon as possible.

Coating
For additional; protection and a enhanced look it is worth considering applying 2 coats of
TILEGUARD 88™ (see product information)

Tire Marks
For applications prone to tire marking especially where marking tires are used on light
color tiles, we recommend the application of TIREGUARD 44™ on all floor areas that
are in contact with the tires. (See product information).
