Thank you for your interest to be part of The Advocacy Center Philippines volunteer program. We advocate to exemplify
the value of life through education and training particularly on animal welfare, waste management programs, and
environmental awareness. To execute our mission, Advocacy Center holds and joins events that promote animal rights
and responsible pet guardianship as well as waste management programs which promote reducing waste to zero for our
healthy environment. Volunteers are considered as blessings to us since there are so many works to do for animal rights
and our environment.

Requirements
1. Must be 18 years old and above.
2. For applicants who plan to apply in pound care, he or she must have an anti-rabies shot.

Process
1. Complete the volunteer application form.
2. Send it to advocacycenter@yahoo.com
3. After reviewing your application, you will be receiving an e-mail from an authorized member of Advocacy Center
to inform your status.
4. If accepted, you will be asked of your schedule for the orientation and training classes. Please do not miss your
scheduled orientation.
5. You become a volunteer after you attend the orientation.

Volunteer Tasks
You can choose more than one task, make sure you rank them according to what interests you the most.
____ Humane Education Give presentations to different age and type of group such as students, office personnel,
barangay community, and others about responsible pet ownership, animal rights and waste management programs.
____ Events Coordinator Assist in organizing events for animal welfare and represents Advocacy Center Philippines in
events where Advocacy Center participates, man information booths and interact with people for inquiries.
____ Pound Care Visit pounds around the city to help feed animal residents, update pound situations, and write
summary report.
____ Community Cat Aid in organizing Spay-Neuter and Adopt activities for community cats.
____ Blogger - Assist in writing story entries for Advocacy's Facebook page and website.
____ Hard HelpDesk Help in printing materials for events and activities such as tarpaulins, brochures, leaflets and
others.
____ Soft HelpDesk Create powerpoint presentations for Advocacy Centers events and seminars.
____ Photographer/Videographer Assist in covering events and programs of Advocacy Center Philippines.
____ Graphic artist Assist in layouting and designing infographics, posters, etc. for Advocacy Center PH.
____ Transportation & Equipment Provider Assist in organizing transportation for Advocacy Center events,
equipment, and other materials.

Volunteer Affirmation
I fully understand that my services provided for Advocacy Center Philippines is strictly voluntary and that no
monetary, employee benefits or any kind of payments are render in exchange of my full voluntary capacity. As a
certified Advocate, I also understand and agree to the following:
I will abide by all Advocacy Center Philippines policies, regulations and procedures.
I will keep confidential all information acquired in the course of my volunteer service.
I will always find way to help and to educate other people about responsible pet guardianship and waste reduction
management.
I will also make sure that I do my best as a volunteer on the task I will be assigned, that I will always be punctual
and reliable as I conduct myself with dignity, integrity, courtesy, open-mindedness to others and work hard to
the best of my ability.
I must always wear appropriate Volunteer attire and maintain well-groomed appearance during Volunteer tasks.
I will share at least eight (8) hours per month for at least six (6) months.
I will accept constructive remarks and will treat other Advocates with respect.
I authorize Advocacy Center Philippines to seek emergency medical care in case of accident, injury or illness and to
contact the emergency number on this application.
I fully agree to assume risks involved in any and all duties that I do for Advocacy Center in my volunteer capability.
If I fail to follow even one of the terms in this affirmation, I understand the consequence of termination as a
Volunteer at the sole discretion of The Advocacy Center Philippines.
