Unsure of which courses to take in your first semester?
Why not try a Luther Bundle?
What is a bundle?
Its a grouping of first semester courses that meet
basic degree requirements. The courses fit together
well and will give you a good start at University, no
matter what degree you decide to pursue. Bundles are
based on possible careers (i.e. pre-medicine,
pre-journalism, social work, etc...), and general
themes (i.e. social justice, international, etc...).
Why use a bundle?
It makes registering for your first semester easier and
gives you several Luther courses. These bundles have
a good weekly schedule and spacing between final
exam dates.

Required Biology, Chemistry and English courses bundled for easy

Your English courses focus on scientific themes in literature and technical
writing for the natural sciences. Youll learn to write with clarity, precision,
and effectiveness important tools for scientists.
Interdisciplinary Studies (IDS) is about understanding issues from multiple perspectives
and putting what you learn to work.
Examples of Luther IDS course topics:
Learn about the historical roots and current practice of piracymore than just the Caribbean!
Want to be really, really effective in your life? What is agency, and how can you develop it?
Did you know that a major source of employment for university grads is in the public sector?
How does the volunteer sector work?
Whats an ecomuseum? Did you know they are popping up all over the place, including in
Saskatchewan? Want to help work on one, see how these kinds of multidisciplinary projects
develop, and get practical skills along the way?
What are the maquiladoras in Mexico? How are they related to what you read in the news
about Mexico, and why should you care?
In Luther IDS courses you will:
