A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE MAYOR RONALD S.
BALAO-AS, TO NEGOTIATE, ENTER INTO, EXECUTE AND SIGN A
MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT (MOA) WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF
SOCIAL WELFARE AND DEVELOPMENT (DSWD) FOR THE SUPPLEMENTAL
FEEDING PROGRAM OF ALL DAY CARE CENTERS IN THE MUNICIPALITY
OF BOLINEY, PROVINCE OF ABRA, IN A MANNER CONSISTENT WITH LAW.
WHEREAS, the municipality afrms the constitutional recognition of the role
of the youth in nation building and the need to provide social support for
projects that promote their development into healthy and socially responsible
citizens;
WHEREAS, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) is in
the process of implementing a Nationwide Supplementary Feeding Program
which will beneft eight (8) Day Care Centers in the Municipality of Boliney,
Abra;
WHEREAS, the DSWD, through the Municipal Social Welfare and Development
Ofce will provide funding for the Supplemental Feeding, while the
municipality shall provide the focal person who shall be the Municipal Social
Welfare and Development Ofcer;
NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Hon. Dominador Sianen, with the
unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Bayan present;
RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Bayan in
session assembled to authorize, as it hereby authorizes the Honorable Mayor
Ronald S. Balao-as, to negotiate, enter into, execute and sign a Memorandum
of Agreement (MOA) with the Department of Social Welfare and Development
(DSWD) for the Supplemental Feeding Program of the eight (8) Day Care
Centers in the Municipality of Boliney, Abra, in a manner consistent with law;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Municipal Social Welfare Development
Ofcer (MSWDO) is hereby directed to forward a copy of this resolution to the

Department of Social Welfare and Development for their information and
appropriate action. Let copy hereof be furnished, Honorable Mayor Ronald S.
Balao-as, Municipality of Boliney, for his information.
