Semifinals (maximum 35 minutes)
a) The piece Lme des feuillages written by
Anthony Girard for the competition (Editions Billaudot -
http://www.billaudot.com).
If you meet any difficulty to obtain the piece, the
Cultural Service (01 40 96 72 82) is at your disposal to
help you in your research.
b) Free choice of a twentieth century sonata
3 finalists will be announced at the end of the semifinal
round.
Finals (maximum 35 minutes)
a) The piece Lme des feuillages written by
Anthony Girard.
b) Free program (the pieces presented during the
qualifying round and the semifinals cannot be replayed).
eArticle 13
The contestants must play all of their program from
memory and provide the jury with 3 copies of the pieces
presented.
eArticle 14 THE JURY
The jury will include international musicians.
The decision of the jury is final and cannot be contested.
The jury reserves the right to not award all the prizes.
The jury cannot vote for a contestant who is or was his
or her student. Votes are anonymous and secret.
eArticle 15
The Rencontres internationales de la guitare reserves
the right to cancel the competition if the number of
applicants is too low. In this case, the registration fee
will be refunded.
eArticle 16
The contestants must agree to abide by the rules of the
competition.
eArticle 17
If any doubt occure about an article, only the French
version will be considered.
eArticle 1
The City of Antony (France) organizes, in conjunction
with the Rencontres internationales de la guitare, the
sixteenth International Guitar Competition from
Wednesday the 25
th
of March to Saturday the 28
th
of
March 2015.
eArticle 2
This competition is notably organised with the support of
the " Conseil Gnral des Hauts-de-Seine ".
eArticle 3 PRIZES
- 1

Prize: 3 500 and a guitar from the Japonese guitar
maker Kohno Sakurai
(http://www.kohno-guitar.org) value : 10 000
- 2
nd
Prize: 1 600
- 3
rd
Prize: 650
- Audience Prize: 350
- Prize for the best performer of the mandatory piece :
300 sponsored by La Guitarreria
In case of equality between candidates, the prize will be
shared between winners, and for the 1
st
Prize, the guitar
will be given to the first named.
The 1
st
Prize winner will be invited to play in Antony
(in the Rencontres internationales de la guitare 2016).
eArticle 4
The competition is open to solo guitarists from any
nationality without any age limit.
eArticle 5
Registration fee, non-refundable, is euros 60.
eArticle 6
Applications should be returned by the 13
th
of March 2015.
eArticle 7 APPLICATION PROCEDURES
The application forms must include :
a) The completed application form
b) Your chosen work
c) Copy of your ID or passport
d) The euros 60 registration fee by check payable to

Article 8
Prizes will be paid by order on the winners bank
account. Winners would be required to provide the
competition office with their bank details.
eArticle 9 TRAVEL AND ACCOMMODATION
a) Travel is at the contestant own expense.
b) Accommodation, 2 possibilities:
1) Housing in families which will include accommodation
fees only during the competition time. This way is not
suitable for contestants who are accompanied (In order
to benefit for a host family, the contestant is required
to advise the competition office imperatively before the

of March 2015)
2) In hotels, at the contestant own expense (a list of the
hotels is available from the competition office on
request).
eArticle 10 DRAWING LOT
A drawing lot will be taking place on Wednesday the 25
th
of March 2015 at 12:00 pm at the city hall of Antony
(place de lHtel de ville), grande salle des commissions
(1
st
floor), to allocate the order of appearance of all the
contestants. The contestants must attend the drawing
lot. If they cannot, they are required to advise the
competition office. The order of appearance of
contestants cannot be modified.
e Article 11 COMPETITION PLANNING
The competition includes 3 rounds which will take place
at the conservatory of Antony, 140 avenue de la Division-
Leclerc.

eArticle 12 COMPETITION PROGRAM
Qualifying
a) A piece of J.S. Bach. The chosen work will take 4
minutes to 7 minutes maximum to be played,
b) Free choice of a H. Villa-Lobosstudy
The jury reserves the right to stop the contestant
during his/her performance.
8 semi-finalists maximum will be announced at the
end of the qualifying.

e Article 8
Le paiement des prix sera effectu par virement sur le
compte bancaire des laurats. Ces derniers devront
remettre au secrtariat leurs rfrences bancaires
(RIB).
eArticle 9 FRAIS DE VOYAGE ET
D'HBERGEMENT
a) Les frais de voyage sont totalement la charge des
candidats.
b) Frais d'hbergement, deux formules possibles :
En famille d'accueil qui prendra gracieusement en
charge les frais de logement lexclusion de tous autres
frais et pendant une priode strictement limite la
dure du concours. Cette formule nest pas accessible
aux candidats accompagns dun parent ou conjoint
(les candidats doivent imprativement prvenir le
secrtariat avant le 13 mars 2015 du choix de cette
formule. Sans demande avant cette date, il ne sera
plus possible de bnficier d'une famille d'accueil).
A lhtel, aux frais du candidat (une liste des htels
sera adresse sur demande du candidat).
vArticle 10 TIRAGE AU SORT
Un tirage au sort public sera organis le mercredi 25
mars 12h lHtel de ville dAntony (place de lHtel de
ville), grande salle des commissions (1
er
tage), pour
dterminer l'ordre de passage de tous les candidats
inscrits. Les candidats y auront t convoqus et seront
tenus d'assister au tirage au sort. Si une raison de force
majeure empche un candidat d'tre prsent cette
sance, il doit en aviser le secrtariat du concours.
L'ordre fix par le tirage au sort ne pourra pas tre
modifi.
eArticle 11 CALENDRIER DES EPREUVES
Le concours comporte 3 preuves qui se drouleront
lauditorium du conservatoire d'Antony, 140 avenue de la
Division-Leclerc.
Premire preuve (liminatoires) :
jeudi 26 mars 2015
Seconde preuve (demi-finale) :
vendredi 27 mars 2015
Troisime preuve (finale publique) :
samedi 28 mars 2015 20h30
eArticle 12 PROGRAMME DES EPREUVES
Eliminatoires
a) Une uvre de J.S. Bach, dune dure comprise
entre 4 et 7 minutes.
b) Une tude au choix de H. Villa-Lobos.
Lors de cette preuve le candidat pourra tre
interrompu tout moment par le jury si celui-ci l'estime
opportun. A l'issue de cette preuve seront proclams,
par ordre alphabtique, au maximum 8 demi-finalistes.
Demi-finale (maximum 35 minutes)
a) La pice Lme des feuillages dAnthony
Girard, crite spcialement pour le concours (Editions
Billaudot - http://www.billaudot.com). En cas de
difficult pour obtenir luvre, adressez-vous au Service
culturel de la Mairie dAntony au 01 40 96 72 82.
b) Une sonate au choix compose au XX
e
sicle
A l'issue de cette preuve seront proclams 3 finalistes.
Finale publique (maximum 35 minutes)
a) La pice Lme des feuillages dAnthony Girard.
b) Programme libre (les uvres prsentes lors des
liminatoires et demi-finale ne peuvent pas tre
reprises).
eArticle 13
Les candidats doivent interprter toutes les uvres de
mmoire et remettre au jury, au moment de leur prestation,
3 exemplaires des partitions des pices interprtes.
eArticle 14 LE JURY
Le jury des Rencontres internationales de la guitare
sera international et compos de personnalits
minentes de la vie musicale. Le jugement mis par le
jury sera dfinitif et sans appel. Ce dernier peut
galement dcider de ne pas attribuer la totalit des
prix. Aucun membre du jury ne pourra mettre de vote
au profit dun concurrent dont il est ou a t le
professeur. Les votes sont anonymes et se font bulletin
secret.
eArticle 15
Les Rencontres internationales de la guitare se
rservent le droit d'annuler le concours si les candidats
ne sont pas assez nombreux. Dans ce cas, ils seraient
rembourss du montant des droits dinscription.
eArticle 16
La demande d'inscription implique l'acceptation de
toutes les rgles.
eArticle 17
En cas de litige ou doute sur linterprtation dun article,
seul le texte franais fait loi.
eArticle 1
La Ville d'Antony (France) organise, dans le cadre des
Rencontres internationales de la guitare, la seizime
dition du Concours international de guitare, du
mercredi 25 au samedi 28 mars 2015.
eArticle 2
Ce concours est organis notamment avec le soutien du
Conseil gnral des Hauts-de-Seine.

des Rencontres internationales de la guitare en 2016).

Le concours s'adresse aux guitaristes solistes de toute
nationalit sans limite d'ge.

Le droit d'inscription, en aucun cas remboursable, est de 60 .
eArticle 6
Les inscriptions seront cltures le 13 mars 2015.

La demande d'inscription comprend obligatoirement :
a) Le bulletin d'inscription dment complt
b) Le titre des uvres du programme libre
c) La photocopie de la carte d'identit ou du passeport
