ARTICLE 1 - THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS

ARTICLE 5 - PROGRESS PAYM ENT S

1. The Contractor shall pay lhe Subcon1ractor monlhly progress paymen1s in accordance with Paragraph 11 .1 of the AlA DOCUMENT A401 , STANDARD FORM OF
AGREMEENT BETWEEN CONTRACTOR AND SUBCONTRACTOR - 1997 EDITION. 2. Applicalions for monlhly progress paymen1s shall be in wri1ing and. in
accordance wi1h Paragraphs 11 .11hru 11 .7 .4 of lhe AlA DOCUMENT A401 , STANDARD FORM OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN CONTRACTOR AND SUBCONTRACTOR 1997 EDITION, shall state the estimated percentage of the work in this Subcontract that has been satisfactorily completed and shall be submitted to the Contractor on or
before lhe 251h day of each mon1h. 3. ALL BILLING TO BE COMPLETED ON "AlA" FORM OR EQUIVALENT AND TO BE ACCOMPANIED BY A LIEN WAIVER IN THE
AMOUNT OF THE PAYMENT. 4. In Accordance wi1h 1he AlA DOCUMENT A401 , STANDARD FORM OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN CONTRACTOR AND
SUBCONTRACTOR- 1997 EDITION, when the Subcontractor's work or a destgnated portion thereof is substantially complete and in accordance with the Contract
Documents, the Contract shall , upon application by the Subcontractor, make prompt applications for payment of such Work. Wrthin thirty days following issuance by the
Architect of the Certrticate for Payment covering such substantially completed WorX, less any portions of the funds for the Subcontractor's Work withheld in accordance
with the Certificate to cover costs of items to be completed or corrected by the Subcontractor. 5. Progress payments or final payment due and unpaid under this
Subcontract shall bear interest from the date payment is due at the rate entered below or, in the absence thereof, at the legal rate prevailing at the place of the projects .
6 . Prior to commencement of work or any payment, a current Certificate of Insurance naming Stasica Construction as "Certificate Holder" as well as
"Additionally Insured" is required . Insurance certificate must include the following clause: "Stasica Construction is additional insured on a primary/non-contributory basis
on the general liability."
ARTICL E 6 - FINAL PAY MENT
1. Final payment , constituting the entire unpaid balance of the Contract Sum , shall be due when the Work described in this Subcontract is fully completed and performed in
accordance with the Contract Documents and is satisfactory to the Architect, and shall be payable, in accordance with Article 12 of the AlA DOCUMENT A401 , STANDARD
FORM OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN CONTRACTOR AND SUBCONTRACTOR - 1997 EDITION. 2. Before issuance of 1he final payments , the Subcon1rac1or. ~required .
shall submit evidence satisfactory to the Contractor that all payrolls, bills for materials and equipment, and all known indebtedness connected with the Subcontractor's Work
have been satisfied.
