Agilia Horizontal
1. Can be laid over any stable substrate. Standard concrete practices must be applied
2. Recommended for flatwork only.
3. Formwork must be watertight to avoid any grout loss.
4. Normal levelling practices are required as Agilia is not entirely self levelling.
5. Joints need to be cut according to standard concrete practices
6. To avoid a screed, door thresholds need to be set into the Agilia floor slab or screedless
door frames need to be used.
7. Always involve a Lafarge sales representative for advice prior to ordering Agilia.
One can never be too careful!
Agilia Vertical
1. Proper formwork design is required to withstand the additional hydrostatic pressures of Agilia.
2. All joints need to be sealed with a joint sealer to avoid any grout loss.
3. The correct demoulding oils need to be correctly applied to formwork to ensure high
quality off-shutter finishes. Bio degradable organic oils are recommended.
4. Shutters can be removed as per standard concrete practices.
5. Always involve a Lafarge sales representative for advice prior to ordering Agilia.

1. Definition
Agilia is a self consolidating concrete designed to flow under its own
weight, requiring no vibration and is able to completely fill all spaces
within the formwork, while remaining homogeneous
2. Product Range
Agilia Horizontal
Agilia Vertical
Agilia Foundation
3. Applications
Agilia Horizontal is designed with a higher slump flow for easier
placement and levelling making it ideal for use in all horizontal
applications. Agilia Horizontal can be used for slabs on grades,
slabs on steel decks, floor repairs or road sections. Floor screeds and
power floating can be avoided if the floor is to be ultimately tiled or
carpeted.
Agilia Vertical is designed with improved viscosity to ensure better
off shutter finishes and better flowability between reinforcement
making it ideal for use in all vertical applications. Agilia Vertical can
be used for walls, columns, beams, precast & heavily reinforced or
highly congested applications such as lift shafts, sheer walls and
reservoirs.
Agilia Foundation is designed with high slump flow making it ideal
for use in all foundations including deep foundations. Agilia Deep
Foundation increases the workability period and improves the
compaction in deep level piling. Agilia Metal Foundations contains
steel fibres and may be used as an alternative to using steel rebar in
foundations.
The Agilia range of products is available for indoor and outdoor
applications and will save you energy, time and labour.
4. Advantages
The advantages of using Agilia include:
Reduces efforts on site
Eliminates vibration
