Vertical Formworks
Modular and light weight formworks in steel, quick to assemble; they can be moved even
manually and they are very flexible in their application. They are particularly suitable for sites
where adequate lifting means are not available and for small-medium companies operating
in the residential, industrial and roadway sectors. It is ideal for works where productivity and
handiness are required.
The MINIMAG formworks belong to Class 7 according to prEN 15113-1 standards.
Maximum resistance to the pressure of fresh concrete is 60 kN/m2.

2 to assemble Minimag panels it is necessary to use:

60 kN/m2. This allows reducing significantly reinforcement and dismantling
times, it allows operating easily and safely because personnel can perform
all operations on the ground without the need to climb on the formwork
or to use ladders (the upper bar is placed at 2.10 m in height).
f>#%&&$#,!%&#"'(+ are necessary to ensure the perfect alignment of the
formworks and a quick assembly.
3 the panels of all sizes can be used both vertically and horizontally.
4 the adjustable clamp is suitable to connect plywood panels up to 150 mm
of thickness and it allows the connection to the MAGNUM system panels.

5 The MINIMAG system can be combined with MAGNUM panels (large

surface formworks) by using an adjustable clamp for greater flexibility and
productivity. At industrial sites where large handmade products are used
(suitable for use with the MAGNUM system) also when spaces or niches
are present (ideal for the MINIMAG system), the ability to integrate the two
lines of products allows keeping the productivity very high.

CHARACTERISTICS OF MATERIALS
To ensure high quality standards and durability, the frame is manufactured in high strength steel after a process of degreasing and cleaning.
It is then painted by immersion and dried in the oven at 130 degrees. The result is a frame highly resistant to abrasion and oxidation.
The multi-layer panel has a thickness of 15 mm with phenolic surface film (220g/m2). It consists of 11 layers of birch and it has no moisture
absorption when the panel is protected. The edges are protected with paint and they can be used about 50 times per side. The weight is 9.6 kg/m2.
The MINIMAG formwork system has been designed and manufactured at Pilosios plants in compliance with prEN15113-1/206 standards,
Vertical formwork - Part 1 performance requirements, general design and assessment.

Vertical Formworks
A particular application for casting of straight and curved bearing walls with variable radius. In the event of castings of combined bearing
walls, it is possible to use standard MINIMAG panels with the addition of some traditional components, making sure to choose the MINIMAG
panels with the most suitable undersizes. For an exposed concrete finish, it is sufficient to line the formworks using 4 mm plywood sheets.

For special site requirements, the technical department of
Pilosio designs and manufactures in carpentry all the necessary
components for casting of non-standard structures.
For the casting of circular tanks the P300 panels are assembled with
special plywood that allows following the curvature of the structure.

Modular formwork system for large areas, MAGNUM represents the ideal solution for large sites and for obtaining high productivity even in the
most severe conditions.
The base or reinforced panel of 240x300 cm, equal to 7.20 m2 uses only 4 bar passages for the contrast tie-rods and just two clamps for
connection. Few connection accessories allow creating large reinforced areas to be handled in a single solution single-sided casting up to
7.50 m in height, climbing casting in elevation, castings of walls and pillars up to 9.0 - 10.0 m in height and any other structure cast on site.
The MAGNUM formworks belong to class 7 according to prEN15113-1.
The maximum resistance to pressures of concrete casting is 60 kN/m2 for the base version and 100 kN/m2 for the reinforced version.

Formworks_MAGNUM
To ensure high standards of quality and durability, the frame in high strength steel, after a process of degreasing and cleaning is painted by
immersion and dried in the oven at 130. The result is a frame highly resistant to abrasion and oxidation.
The multi-layer panel is 18 mm thick with phenolic surface film protection (220 g/m2). It consists of 11 layers of birch and has no moisture
absorption when panel is protected. The edges are protected with paint and it can be used about 100 times per side. The weight is 11.35 kg/m2.
The MAGNUM formwork system has been designed and manufactured in factories of Pilosio according to prEN15113-1/206 Vertical formwork
- Part 1 performance requirements, general design and assessment.

They are modular formworks with variable radius used for curved structures cast on site. The curvature radius of panels can be easily adjusted
by using screw adjusters.
The versatility of the SVELT formwork allows carrying out walls with oval or S shaped base and even linear walls. The application fields of

The PL20-beam formwork system for walls allows creating large panels with
high capacities and limited weight.
The different heights available allow reinforcing in one-stage, walls with
heights from 3.00 to 6.00 m (standard beams) and greater heights with the
combination of more elements.
The formation of the outer angle is carried out by using standard aligners and
devices for angle bar connected with the traditional threaded rod.
The male aligner allows the coupling of individual panels. The wedge
connection clamps and aligns in a single and quick operation the alignment
of female beams.
The connection clamps allow in a quick and easy junction between the PL20
beams and female aligners. It can be used in any position.

CLIMBING SUPPORT BRACKETS for casting in elevation without using service scaffoldings. To be combined with all MINIMAG, P300, MAGNUM,
SVELT and MAXIMIX formwork systems.
They are brackets which allow proceeding in elevation by anchoring to brackets fastened to an already existing structure. This way, it is possible
to super-elevate the casting with steps of 3 or 4 meters with no limit. For safety reasons, the system requires the use of an under-bridge as
per applicable law.
The handling of the complete module (width 3.0 m) is performed with a single crane lift.
The climbing bracket is equipped with walkway surface, safety rails and toe-boards.

ADJUSTABLE FORMWORKS FOR STAIRS PREFABRICATED ON SITE

In large buildings the stairs are a repetitive element for all floors. By casting the flights a few weeks earlier than the slabs, it is possible to
implement the stairs as the construction progresses. Pilosio has developed a special formwork for casting a flight on site which is cast on
site during the other stages of work. This way, the stairs are immediately available and usable.
Formwork for stair flight with fixed rise and tread. Vertical casting.
The adjustable formwork is suitable for the horizontal implementation of stair flight with rise, tread, number of steps and adjustable width and
with two landings. The formwork consists of a main frame on which the steps complete of devices for the adjustment by screw of the tread
and rise, are placed. It is possible to reduce the number of steps and the width of the structure.
Rise: height from 14 to 18 cm

To save costs in the execution of sewage systems of any type of profile, Pilosio
has developed a system for casting on site. The system can be of mechanical or
hydraulic type and is based on a simple principle.
The formwork complete of hinges lays on a cart. Once the casting of the sewer
profile has been carried out, by acting on the contrast screw-down it is possible
to shrink the formwork and at the same time to lower it to allow the forward
motion of the entire system for the next casting. The sewer profile can have an
ovoid, polycentric, vigentino, rectangular, square or circular shape. In polycentric,
vigentine and ovoid sewers the dismantling can be performed daily because the
profile acts like an arc. The vertical panel of formworks for DOWN excavations
can be used as inside formwork, making sure to interpose a sheet of polystyrene
and one of PVC between the casting and the shoring panel to facilitate the
dismantling.
Special formwork with hinges, with dimension of 220x220 cm and

length of 6 m, designed for module, for the contemporary casting
of vertical bearing walls and conduit room. During dismantling, the
hinges allow changing the shape of the formwork approaching the
vertical parts inward and lowering the top in order to move the
entire structure under the other elements by using a cart on rails.
