A. Give Time:
a. Book collection coordinator: Collect books for the library. Suited for volunteer partners who are
book enthusiasts and would love to impact peoples lives through education.
Task description:
Let your friends know that you are collecting books and they can bring what they have.
Also ask them if they can donate any amount towards the cost of shipping.
OR If you belong to any club, church or other organizations, do a book drive.
OR If you want to collect on your own and pay for the entire shipping.
Pack the books. Dimension of the Filipino Balikbayan box is---------., it is volume related,
not weight related
Shipping cost is $80.00 per box.
Time needed: It is up to you how much time you want to spare and how many boxes
you want to send-e.g. one box per year, one box per quarter, or number of boxes
depending on the donations of books and money.

b. Communication coordinator: Promote the RPRCC vision of helping the rural poor. This task is
suited for people who do not mind telling or sending emails and other informational materials
to their network of friends and organizations.
Task description:
Tell your friends about your new volunteer work and ask them if it is okay for you to
email them information.
Follow-up with them. Ask them what they think and if they are interested to become
volunteer partners like you.
Time needed: Whatever you can spare.

c. Team recruiter: This task is suited for people who are adventurous and would love talking to
others to go in for international outreach trips.
Task description:
Find people who love to go to rural areas and work hands on with the people.
Find their fit in the RPRCC three main programs: 1. Health- medical professionals;
2.Livelihood- people who have training or interest in plants, animals, herbs, medicinal
plants. 3) Education- educators, students, computer savvy people.
Explain the application and the approval process.
Time involved: whatever you can spare.

d. Fundraising coordinator: This is suited for people who are creative, love networking and
organizing.
Task description:
Promote the vision, find financial donors-individuals, businesses, foundations
Organize charity events-golf outings, tennis round robin, auctions, etc.

e. Computer, graphics, tech coordinator: If you are creative, versatile and tech savvy, we need
you.
Task description:
Prepare brochures, power point, word documents, video, and photos for promotional
activities.
Be a tech consultant as RPRCC embarks into its educational and library programs. Look
for sources for suitable computers, programs, software and other practical training
materials for the rural areas.

f. Contributing writers, coordinators: This is suited for people who love the academic activities of
writing, editing, proofreading, or writing articles relevant to the training programs of RPRCC.
Currently, RPRCC is embarking into a project called BACK to BASICS which is a book composed of
booklets with topics on Basic Nutrition, Basic Natural Farming, and others.

g. Resourcing coordinator: You love doing research and find out companies, civic clubs, or other
charities who can donate books, computers, medical supplies, construction tools, farming tools,
goat raising supplies, and other needed materials.
Task description:
Research for companies and organization and contact the right people.
Facilitate their donation.
Coordinate with the team members who can bring the resources.

Oral thermometers to be brought to the Philippines in the winter (Jan 22-Feb 22, 2015) and
summer outreaches;
Blood pressure monitors;
Tools for constructions and farming.
