General characteristics
PVC Cable Trays are intended to be an insulating cable support system, and they are
an excellent solution in order to avoid corrosion risks in high humidity installations, or
in aggressive chemical environments. PVC raw material has excellent behaviour against
the most aggressive chemical agents. Polinorma is classified M1.
40 mm high trays and 60x100 and 60x150 mm high trays are manufactured with the
traditional system of solid walls. Wall thickness is between 2.2 and 2.5 mm.
Tray walls from 200 mm width use an innovative system of corrugations, which allows
the total weight to be reduced by approximately 1/3. As a result, handling, installation
and transport are easier. Handling is more comfortable, mechanical characteristics,
resistance to impact up to IK10 and stiffness are not altered.

Central Joint, essential accessory for central coupling trays with

a width of 400, 500 and 600, as using it provides a better fitting,
higher load resistance and lower deflection.
Recommended to use one central joint per each joint of trays in
case of width 400mm, and two central joints per each joint of
trays in cases of widths 500 and 600 mm.Central Joint includes
2 screws M8x20mm and nuts.

The safetly working-load is calculated according to the standard IEC 61537.

The load is uniformly distributed along the PVC Cable trays
The maximum distance between couplers and brackets is 1/5 of the span
between brackets
The safety working-load value is given when:
the longitudinal deflection is 1% of the span between brackets
the transversal deflection is 5% of the width of the PVC Cable tray
