Dec. 7, Sun.-You are invited to attend an informal time of Christmas carol singing
at Blainsport Mennonite Church this evening at 7 p.m. You are welcome to come to
sing and/or to listen! Refreshments will be served in the Fellowship Hall following
the service.
Dec. 8, Mon.-Lancaster Area Anabaptist Relief Meeting-All are welcome to attend

the annual Lancaster Area Anabaptist Relief Meeting hosted by MCC and MDS at
the MCC Material Resources Center 7 p.m. Youll hear material resource updates
from both organizations. We will also remember Peter and Elfrieda Dyck, who
devoted their lives to the work of the church, on this 100th anniversary of Peters
birth. Refreshments and a time of fellowship will follow the meeting. Please contact

Dec. 10, Wed.-JGA, JBA and Jr. Youth will meet at the Bowmansville Mennonite
Church from 7-8:30 p.m. Jr. Youth will have a gift exchange. Please bring a $5 gift.
JGA will be decorating gingerbread houses. Bring one kind of candy to share with
the group. JBA will be making pizza.
Dec., 12, 13, 14, 19 &20-"Journey to Bethlehem" will be held at Woodcrest Retreat
weekend nights. The Christmas story comes alive, in six unique scenes, as you walk
by candlelight along quiet wooded trails with the Biblical characters. Dramatic

Dec. 13, Sat.-You are invited to participate in a spontaneous singing of the
Hallelujah Chorus at 11 a.m. in the food court at Park City, Lancaster. If you would
like to sing, please respond by sending your name and voice part to
mccl@lancastermennonite.org or by calling (717) 455-7025. An optional rehearsal
will be held on Tues., Dec. 9 at 7 p.m. at Neffsville Mennonite Church. To review

Dec. 14, Sun.-All are welcome to the Christmas program at the Red Run Mennonite
Church at 7 p.m. This will include singing, drama, and a chimes choir.
Dec. 16, Wed.-Bowmansville District Sewing Circle will meet at the Bowmansville
Mennonite Church in the morning and afternoon. Everyone is welcome to help with
knotting comforters, quilting, or sewing on a sewing machine. You are welcome to
come for the entire time, or just a few hours as it suits you. The project for this
month is Hygiene Kits. MCC continues to have urgent needs for hygiene kits, which
provide supplies to families whose lives have been disrupted by war of disaster. A
Hygiene Kit contains the following new items (in packaging:1 adult-size toothbrush
1 large bar bath soap,1 good quality fingernail clipper,1 dark colored hand towel.
Items can be brought to the church and Sewing Circle will see they are taken to
MCC for distribution. Thank you for all of your contributions to MCC's work in the
name of Christ!
