Gas Infrastructure Development Cess (GIDC) was levid by the Federal Government and the Company
along with the industry went into appeal against GIDC. In August 2014, Honorable Supreme Court of
Pakistan issued an order rejecting the appeal of the Federal Government against which the Federal
Government has subsequently filed a review petition..Keeping in view the above order of the Honorable
Supreme Court, the Company has not recognised liability in respect of GIDC amounting to Rs. 28.7
milion.
