MINISTERING TO THOSE WITH

SPECIAL NEEDS

The Altar flowers today are given to the glory of God

and in honor of her husband, Richard, by Melissa King.

Did you know that many parents

who have children with special
needs are not able to find a
church home because nothing is
in place for their child and family
on Sunday mornings? Well it's
time to change this!

Please Pray For Peggy Aglubat; Irylanna Butler; Alli Callender; Nancy Clark;
Victor Connor; Helen Counsell; Eugene Deane; Harry Fluharty; Tammy Fritz;
June Moon Gaedecke; Chad Gittings; Kathryn Gray; Liz Hood; Nan Hutcherson; Roy Jones; Jeremy Long; Ralph Miller; Don & Pat Milleson; Art Oliver;
Nancy Reed; Paula Smith; Bunny Taylor; Travis Whetzel; Ernestine Williams;
Dannie Wright

Beginning in 2015 any family in

our community who would like to
chat about what participation at
AUMC could look like, due to
special needs in their family, are
encouraged to contact me. We
will meet and make a plan so that
their family is able to participate
in the life of our church! Please
share this information with any
family you know who might need
special accommodations.

Also, if you're interested in

helping in any way (no
experience with children of
differing abilities required) or
you know someone who enjoys
working with special needs
children, youth, or adults please
contact me.

The Friendship Class will be in recess on Sunday, December 28. We will

start a study of the apostle Paul on January 4. We will use the PBS documentary "In the Footsteps of St. Paul, with David Suchet," supplemented
with readings from Paul's letters, and Acts of the Apostles. We invite all
who are interested to join us.
