Obama is pro-Kenya.
Some long-term pals suggested that my son might be becoming a squishy-lib because of his having
emphasized the import of the Senate-Dem CIA-Report; Id felt it to have been remiss for not having
vetted documents by including interviews, although Id been willing to accept the concept that those
who violated rules (such as stressing the relatives of interrogation-targets, including one with a low-IQ)
should be subject to some sort of punishment. On the other hand, all the libs with whom I chatted were,
ultimately, not willing to ignore the need to used enhanced interrogation for imminent ticking-timebombs; this was the endpoint *because BHO isnt prosecuting, and it seems clear BHO was caught
because of water-boarding].
Then, along came my son, armed with a colorfully-written hyperlink [The 11 Most
Psychotic Things D ick Cheney Said About Torture on Meet the Press] that stripped-bare
my insulation, for Cheney seems not to have disputed the key-contents of Feinsteins
revelations *Cheneys immediate response when reminded of a man who had been
mistakenly detained, then doused with water, and chained to the floor where he froze
to death: But, uh, the problem I have is with all the folks that we did release that end
up back on the battlefield]; the logical-fallacy, here, dates back to when we all took the
SATs *true, true, but unrelated+. ,Know that my son also referred to BHO as a Foolish
consequentialist. It may be recalled that the CIA-agent who subjected KSM to this approach reported it had been effective
and that, after having provided an overview of reactions to the report, the cogent arguments in-defense
of this approach were summarized and then analyzed dispassionately:
Karl Rove said Diane Feinstein reminds me of the Red Queen of Alice in Wonderland
conclusions first and investigation never. He quoted Decision Points by George W.
Bush (pages 168-170), which documented the thread of info that proved enhanced
interrogation was effective. The interrogation program started when 13 techniques
were reviewed and 11 approved, proving Bush-43 was NOT uninformed by a rogue-CIA.
It was first directed at the recruiter for bin-Laden [Abu Zubaydah], who was
waterboarded and revealed additional planned attacks on U.S plus who had conceived
logistics for 9/11 and post-9/11 plots of follow-on attacks [Romsi ben-Asheeb] who was
also subjected to enhanced interrogation techniques. These two lead to the mastermind
of 9/11 [Khalid Sheikh Mohammad+, who said, Ill see you in New York with my
lawyers; but, after he broke, he IDed the head of the militant group Jemaah Islamiah
who led their efforts to work in SE Asia [Riduan Isamuddin, a.k.a. Hambali]. He gave up
his brother, who was in charge of the effort to attack the west coast of the United States
[Rusman Gunawan]; as a result, 17 members of his cell [who were in-training to
probably use aircraft to attack sites on the west coast] were swept-up. As a result of
subjecting people to these techniques of interrogation, the CIA learned of Canary
Warf and attacks on Heathrow *London+ and U.S. Embassies and military bases abroad.
To obtain some balance, note a key-quote from an article drawn from
Feinsteins CIA-dissing report [Did torture really help U.S. find al Qaeda
chief Hambali?+: KSM told CIA interrogators in early 2003 about a plan
to have a former resident of Baltimore, Majid Khan, send $50,000 to
southeast Asia to fund al-Qaeda attacks. The spy agency says that
information helped investigators uncover a network of terror suspects
in southeast Asia that led to Hambali himself. Before KSM gave up
Scalise is and has clearly been aware of David Duke's white supremacist views, but that's
not what he pointed to as the "first and most important thing" in a 1999 interview with
Roll Call about why Duke wouldn't make a good congressional candidate. "The novelty
of David Duke has worn off," Scalise. "The voters in this district are smart enough to
realize that they need to get behind someone who not only believes in the issues they
care about, but also can get elected. Duke has proven that he can't get elected, and
that's the first and most important thing."
Scalise voted twice against making Martin Luther King, Jr. Day a state
holiday in 1999 and 2004 as a state legislator. And in 1997 he voted
against a bill prohibiting hate crimes based on race, class or sexual
orientation. And New Orleans Advocate politics blogger Stephanie
Grace says that Scalise once told her he was like David Duke without the
baggage.
Scalise's version was sharply questioned; figures in both parties expressed incredulity at
his claim that he was unaware of the nature of the group he spoke to in 2002, just over
a decade after Mr. Duke won 39 percent of the vote in a bid for the governorship that
drew worldwide attention. In my view, it is the ongoing interaction with Knight that is
problematic, for it bespeaks a pattern of cozying-up to a known-racist. Overall, because
you cant beat someone with no one, it seems that it is no accident that Gohmert just
defined GOP Priorities in 2015 as being Amnesty, ObamaDontCare, and Energy.
It has been correctly claimed that Stopping Obamas Amnesty is the Battle of Our Time, as
implementation efforts are continuing [as predicted] apace [Luis Gutirrez to Kick Off Nationwide Exec
Amnesty Education Tour in Rhode Island and California DMV Hired 900 New Workers To Deal With
Onslaught Of Illegal Immigrant Drivers]; it is indeed ominous that [as predicted] an OBAMA ADVISER
claims a GOP PRES WILL NOT BE ABLE REVERSE POPULAR AMNESTY. Ignored by the media, as usual, are
crimes committed by Illegals [Illegal Immigrant Accused of Choking Woman, Tying Her Up with Extension
Cord and Kidnapping Baby+, and a former member of the Gang of Eight, Rubio, has been reduced to
whining [Obama Inaccurate and Unwise in Calling Republicans Nativists].
Meanwhile, the national-focus on the [Reverse-]Racism issue remains trained on NYC, as
De Blasio reappointed a judge who had freed men who threatened cops and De Blasio
Aides Urged NY Lawmakers to Denounce Police Union President; although this War on
Cops is A Narrative The Media Ignore, the predictable stance of the New York Times
[Has de Blasios Back In Stand-off With Police] may not work, for De Blasio Could Cost
New York the DNC Convention Bid.
Multiple gun-related incidents continue to occur, both protective [Pastor Shoots Attacker Inside Church
and Texas Sheriffs Deputies Save Womans Life and Prevent Suicide By Cop] and destructive [Man Kills
Girlfriend While Shooting Gun to Celebrate New Year and HOUSTON MAN KILLED BY RANDOM NEW
YEARS EVE BULLET; indeed, even cops arent always careful enough with the guns they own, noting that
a Police Chief Shot his Wife. Thus, gun-laws will continue to be controversial, despite the fact that
political verdicts seem to support dominance of the 2nd Amendment [WENDY DAVIS ADMITTED SHE
WAS FAKING SUPPORT FOR GUN RIGHTS TO GET VOTES and Gabby Giffords Gun Control Group Seeks
Cash and Guidance After Midterm Losses].
Per Gallop, in 2014, four issues generated enough public concern over enough months
for at least 10% of Americans, on average, to identify each of them as the nation's most
important problem. Complaints about government leadership -- including President
Barack Obama, the Republicans in Congress and general political conflict -- led the list,
at 18%. This was closely followed by mentions of the economy in general (17%),
unemployment or jobs (15%) and healthcare (10%); this is the first time the economy
was not the #1 concern. Thus, in 2016, Democrats will be on Thin Ice with White
Working-Class Voters.
One would think that, in 2016, Jim Webb is already keenly aware of this
fact, having claimed that White Working-Class Voters Whipping Post
for Dem Activists.
Thus, Republicans have disrupted Democrats' demographic advantage; the Democrats'
working-class-whites problem is serious. In midterms, Republicans won white voters
without a college degree by 30 points. Support for Obama among working-class whites
has dropped 8 points since 2010. Democrats have chosen to focus on issues that the
liberal base of the party really likes, but the working-class person in West Virginia or
Arkansas or Louisiana or Alaska doesn't necessarily identify with,' said political analyst
Charlie Cook. Cook pointed to those four states to argue that Democrats are a
'marginalized party' across much of the country.
Regarding POTUS-16, the Top 16 Republicans in the field [includes Bolton, excludes Pence] have been
defined and refined, often imaginatively; consider these New Years resolutions for Republicans.
Predictably, MARCO RUBIO is engaged in wishful-thinking when he claims IMMIGRATION REFORM NOT
A POLITICAL BONANZA FOR GOP IN 2016 [recalling he remains unpopular due to his involvement with
the Gang-of-Eight]; similarly, SEN. JEFF FLAKE [another Establishment-RINO, just as is his Arizonacounterpart, McCain] IS URGING PRO-AMNESTY 2016 CANDIDATES LIKE JEB BUSH TO SKIP IOWA.
Indeed, that JEB IS SKIPPING IOWA [Steve King/Citizens United Iowa Forum] is reminiscent of the fact
that Romney never addressed any TEA Party Movement groups; this is not a healthy way to reach
out.
Jeb Bush is being portrayed as The GOPs Hope For 2016 and, stretching credulity, a Top
Bush Ally Claimed Jeb is Against Amnesty. Indeed, Bush, 61, lamented Romney's
handling of the criticism [of his business background, and recently told Miami's WPLGTV that Romney should have told voters: "I'm a problem-solver. My life has been about
building things up." Of his own business record, Bush said: "I'm not ashamed. Taking risk
and creating jobs is something we ought to have more of." As predicted previously, a
Longtime Romney friend said Hes standing by to rescue the party from nominating Ted
Cruz.
What this confirms is that the GOP-Establishment fears Cruz maximally. Know that, at age 32, Ted Cruz
became the youngest state Solicitor General in U.S. history; after graduating from Harvard Law School,
Cruz clerked for Supreme Court Chief Justice William Rehnquist [the first Hispanic to ever clerk for a
Chief Justice]. Later, during the 2000 Florida recount, Cruz served as a chief legal advisor for the George
W. Bush campaign, and recruited future Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts to join the team. He
has been racking-up revealing media-appearances regarding Cuba [with Wolf Blitzer], condemning
Obamas Abuse of Power' [edited-out from a Face the Nation interview], and tracing the history of the
Mexican-American War [in Dinesh DSouzas America]. Note the transcript of his Annual Helms Lecture
last year [The Vital Role of the Senate in Foreign Policy], the video of his concerns with US-Russian
Relations, and a summary [and video] of his overall condemnation of Obamas Foreign Policy
[Weakness Is Provocative]. He wants more foreign [legal] workers and, contrasting with Bush [vide
supra], Ted Cruz is to Speak at the South Carolina Tea Party Convention.
