Establishing a Connection

1. Install mClicker for iPhone from the Apple App Store

2. Download mClicker server from
http://mclicker.com/Content/IMouseService.Setup.msi
3. Install mClicker server and run it. Choose network adapter and the IP address of
the PC where the server is running. This usually is Local Area Connection.

4. Select a port the default port is 10552 - please note that if you have fire wall
running on your PC you should create an exception for that port and open it.
5. Press START SERVICE button at the bottom left corner of SERVER SETTINGS
screen.

6. Run mClicker on your iPhone device and it will automatically connect to the server
7. Skip the next section if you are not interested in manual setup/troubleshooting

8. Choose Unicast and enter in address box the IP address of the server the one
that was selected on step 3 of this manual. Enter the port number the same
one which was selected on step 4 of this manual. Switch ON network at the
top of the screen and go to Mouse screen the last tab at the bottom right of
your iPhone device screen.

Air Mouse Mode




In this mode you can control the mouse pointer of your PC by rotating your iPhone left
and right in order to move the pointer respectively left and right and by tilting the phone
device up and down to move it up and down. You can also adjust the sensitivity of the
pointer on the server app. Go to mClicker server and choose MOTION SETTINGS tab.
Use the three sliders to control the sensitivity of the mouse pointer (left is slow, right
fast). In case you need to reset the settings press USE DEFAULT SETTINGS button.

Touchpad Mode

In this mode the phone device could be used as fully functional touch pad. This tab
supports both portrait and landscape modes. There are three buttons on the screen left
mouse button, right mouse button and a keyboard button that pops up a keyboard. This
mode also supports scrolling - place two fingers on the screen and move them up or
down. You can again adjust the sensitivity of the touchpad on the mClicker server app.
Open TOUCH SETTINGS tab and use the two sliders to adjust mouse pointer sensitivity
and scrolling speed.

Keyboard Mode

Use this tab if you need to quickly type something. Pressing the Done button in the
upper right corner reveals 4 way arrows and a clear button (clears the text entry box).

Presentation Mode
1. Start Microsoft PowerPoint and open your presentation
2. Go to Presentation tab on your iPhone
start/stop slide show starts/stops the presentation
first slide shortcut to the first slide
last slide shortcut to the last slide

arrow button press and hold when you need to point at something with the
mouse (temporary shows the mouse cursor on the screen)
prev slide go to previous slide
next slide go to next slide
the rectangular empty area in the middle doubles as a touch pad and a mouse. To
switch between touch pad and mouse mode double tap in the empty area. When
mouse mode is on it works similar to the arrow button (press and hold anywhere
in the area to show the cursor, lift your finger to hide it).

Troubleshooting
No Available Networks on the Server (IP drop down empty)
If your computer is not connected to a local network or the Internet mClicker server IP
drop down will be empty. This means you need to create your own network. In order to
do this you need to use the following guide.
1. Open the Start Menu and type wireless into the Search box and select Manage
wireless networks.

2. Click the Add button to add a wireless network.

3. Next click on Create an ad hoc network.

4. Now give your network a name and choose security options. Check Save this
network if you plan to use it repeatedly so you dont have to set one up each time.
We recommend using WPA2 security type.

5. Wait while the network is created.

6. Verify the network by clicking the wireless icon on the taskbar.

7. Go to the home screen of your iPhone and tap on Settings.

8. Connect to the wireless network you just created and tap on the arrow on the
right.

9. Configure a static IP address (192.168.2.2)

Verify that you are connected to your computer.

To change the computers IP address, type network and sharing into the
search box in the Start Menu and select Network and Sharing Center when it
comes up.

Then when the Network and Sharing Center opens, click on Change adapter
settings.

Right-click on your local adapter and select Properties.

In the Local Area Connection Properties window highlight Internet Protocol
Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) then click the Properties button.

Now select the radio button Use the following IP address and enter in the
correct IP, Subnet mask that corresponds with your network setup. You will need
Default gateway and DNS only if you need to share your internet connection with
your iPhone.
