The 16th annual Chapter Leadership
Development Workshop (LDW) is an annual
preconference highlight of the National
Teaching Institute & Critical Care Exposition,
and this years event May 17 at the
Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel in San Diego
will be no exception. You wont want to miss
this unique and engaging opportunity to
network with your fellow chapter members
and share knowledge and experiences to help
further the work of your own chapter. Come
find out why more than half of LDW
participants are repeat attendees

Focus Your Flame

Well be Focusing the Flame on:
Improving and/or developing our engagement skills with
keynote speaker Vicki Good, AACN Immediate Past President
guiding us on that journey.
Identifying opportunities to involve, develop, and engage
chapter members to actively participate in chapters, utilizing
the Healthy Work Environment (HWE) standards.
Networking with other chapters, sharing best practices,
mingling, participating in a special lunch-time activity, and
time at the end of the workshop for even more networking!
Celebrating and recognizing chapters during the annual
Chapter Circle of Excellence Awards presentation during the
afternoon session. More information about the awards
presentation will be forthcoming.

Why Attend?
If you have been considering becoming more involved in your chapter, this is the
workshop to attend. It will help build new skills related to chapter management and
leadership within healthy chapter work environments.
Every chapter sending at least one leader or member to LDW will receive a $435
grant to help defray the registration cost of $85 per person and other expenses
related to attending the workshop. (Southern California residents: Even if you cant
attend the full NTI, consider joining us just for LDW.)
Dont miss this unforgettable day of celebration, networking and learning. There is
no limit to the number of chapter members or leaders who may participate.
To complement LDW, plan to attend the chapter concurrent sessions for Local
Engagement, Educational and Networking Opportunity sessions at NTI.
