Completing Assemblies in WIP

Trigger:

Concept
You complete job assemblies into inventory using both the Completion Transactions and Move
Transactions pages. You also use these pages to return completed assemblies back to jobs.
Completing an assembly quantity into inventory that is greater than the job start quantity, or
overcompletions, is useful when the production process yields more assemblies than planned.
You can set up a tolerance level to restrict the number of overcompleted assemblies. When you
complete assemblies, all components with the supply type of assembly pull are automatically
backflushed.

In this topic, you will use the Completions Transactions page to complete assemblies.
